Nikki Ferrell Confirms Her Relationship with ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Galavis is Over

Prepare to be shocked, guys: Nikki Ferrell and Juan Pablo Galavis have split.

Nikki, who met Juan Pablo on the most-recent season of The Bachelor, has confirmed to Life & Style that she has parted ways with the Latin Lothario. The tabloids started writing breakup stories after Nikki posted a few cryptic things to her social media accounts, but this marks the first time that either Juan Pablo or Nikki has confirmed the split. The couple is currently being featured on the VH-1’s Couples Therapy, although those episodes were filmed a few months ago.

Apparently even ol’ Dr. Jenn Berman can’t save every trainwreck relationship.

Nikki talked to the magazine about what went wrong.

“We were just going back and forth through texting. He was questioning the relationship, and I was questioning it back,” she said. “I sent him a message saying, ‘We should fight for this. We should work this out.’ And he didn’t respond.”

Wow…not even an “Es Okay”?!

This all happened around Nikki’s birthday on October 29, prompting her to make the cryptic Instagram and Twitter posts. The real breakup did not come, however, until a few days later.

“We both knew we were wasting each other’s time,” Nikki said. “The relationship wasn’t making us happy anymore. We were never a normal couple. We weren’t willing to make the sacrifices or compromises to meet in the middle and make it work.”

They were, however, the most-hated couple in the history of ‘The Bachelor’ franchise. Nikki and Juan Pablo had few fans after they appeared on the season’s “After the Final Rose” special and acted hostile toward host Chris Harrison, the show’s producers, and basically anyone that talked to them. They have said that they went on ‘Couples Therapy’ to change the public’s view of them. Most of their therapy sessions ended up centering around the fact that Juan Pablo refused to tell Nikki that he loved her.

Although she didn’t get the giant Neil Lane engagement ring, the on-air wedding or even a successful relationship from Juan Pablo, she did end up getting an “I love you” from him…eventually.

“It was really special,” she said of Juan Pablo’s love declaration.

While Juan Pablo may be a bachelor once again, there’s no hope we will ever see him on another ‘Bachelor’ show. In fact, in an effort to completely distance the show from the disastrous Juan Pablo season, the producers have cast Chris Soules as the “All-American farmer” for the upcoming season of ‘The Bachelor.’ (Click here to watch the creepy first trailer!)
