‘Teen Mom OG’ Girls Reveal the Worst Thing They Had to Film for New Season

"We're baaaack!"
“We’re baaaack!”

Teen Mom returns to the air in one week! It’s been over two years since Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell have all been appearing regularly on our TV screens, so fans are understandably ecstatic for the new season to premiere. OK! Magazine caught up with the ‘Teen Mom OG’ girls recently to discuss what the hardest thing/moment they had to film for the new season was.

Their answers are quite telling, actually…

Catelynn Lowell stated that the most difficult thing she had to film was a moment with Brandon and Teresa, her first daughter Carly’s adoptive parents. (It’s been hinted that Catelynn and Tyler‘s once fantastic relationship with the couple has hit some rough patches in recent years.)

“I think the only thing I was scared to film was a conversation with Brandon and Teresa,” Catelynn said. “And it definitely was tough to watch it too.”

Amber and Maci had similar stories when asked what was hardest for them to film.

“Just talking about [my ex] Ryan so much is so annoying because I feel like in the show it’s going to look like my life revolves around Ryan, and it doesn’t,” Maci said. “I hope that mine and Taylor [McKinney]’s relationship is a big part of my story, but it seems like all we do [on the show] is talk about Ryan, so it’s almost like we’re in a three-way relationship because that’s all that goes on. But I hope it’s more about me and Taylor; that’d be great!”

Amber, too, is tired of having to talk about her ex, Gary Shirley.

“Now I never talk to him or communicate with him unless it’s about [Leah],” Amber told OK! “What MTV does when they come is they ask you questions [about] Gary…I never even talk about him so I really don’t want to.”

And finally…we have Farrah’s answer, which would be quite surprising if it had come from anyone but Farrah.

“The hardest thing to look back on and watch for the season is my last day as a feature at this gentleman’s club that we filmed,” Farrah said. “Getting ready with my family and going to the club, there’s so many people and different emotions, it’s just either going to be hilarious or, like, oh my gosh.”

"Seriously, Farrah?!"
“Seriously, Farrah?!”

You have to love the look Catelynn gives Farrah when she’s talking about how hard it was to end her strip club gig… And when Farrah mentions that her family helped her get ready. W…T…F…

Maci also talked about that pivotal moment shown in the trailer in which she is told by producers that Farrah was coming back to the show. In the trailer, we see Maci tell the crew that they can “leave now” because “this is over.” (Maci is reportedly very unhappy that her son, Bentley, will be on a show that features Farrah’s very adult antics, including stripping and adult video/toy promotion.)

“I was pissed,” Maci told OK!. “I was really mad. Normally I can hold it together. That never happens, but the ginger was coming out.”

(The Maci/Farrah feud seems to be far from over. Maci was not paired up with Farrah during the interviews, and Farrah has been cutting Maci out of many of the ‘Teen Mom OG’ promotional photos she’s been posting to social media.)

When asked by OK! how she felt about Farrah being on the show now, Maci made it seem like not much has changed since her initial reaction.

“I mean, I’m not OK with it, but I’m here,” she said.

As always, The Ashley will be recapping the new season of ‘Teen Mom’ so stay tuned! The new season starts next Monday, March 23 on MTV!

  1. Farrah is just a disgrace . How is she going to explain all of this to her daughter I wonder . The fact that she’s so proud of all her ‘accomplishments ‘ is just bizarre . I would be embarrassed and ashamed of myself as she should be. It’s sad when your not even a good role model for your own daughter .

  2. I seriously can’t stand Maci. I’m not a Farrah fan by any means but why is Maci so great that she should be on the show and Farrah doesn’t? I don’t even mind Farrah’s “career” its her life. My problem with Farrah is she’s a conceited bitch who think she’s always right and so perfect and needs to be knocked off her high horse. However, that’s not changed. Farrah’s always been like this. The only reason Maci thinks she’s better then her now is because Farrah’s done porn. Well Farrah made a porno and made lots of money off it and Maci went from club to club partying with her 10 closest BFFs and got herself into major debt. Neither one of them took care of their child at the time pawning them off on family while they ran around not acting like Moms. And wasn’t it revealed that Maci was having partys and getting drunk while Bentley was actually there? Yeah that’s such responsible parenting Maci. And now she’s mad Bentley is on the same show as a porn star, last time I checked he was LIVING in a freakin frat house while everyone was getting waisted around him. He’s not going to know what Farrah’s doing however many states away. That’s not going to affect Bentley. What Maci is doing IS affecting Bentley. Maci is just mad because putting Farrah back on takes away time from her! And the reason the show revolves around her and Ryan is because it’s a show about how they parent their kids at a young age. Ryan is part of that parenting proccess!!! Taylor isn’t he’s just her new dick that she decided to have another child with. Ugh rant over.

  3. they are ALL There again for the money, because what else in their lives brings in money?? Nothing, SAD!

  4. Gentlemen’s clubs are really not that horrible. I worked at one for 3 years after college.

Porn on the other hand is a different story…

  5. “I mean I’m not happy with it, but I partied myself 80k in debt and couldn’t choose good decisions for my son over a paycheck”

  6. Farrah has gone Soooo disgustingly Down hill. Funny thing is she thinks it hasn’t! Wish MTV wouldn’t have given her air time. 🙁
