Get your orange soda out: Kenan, Kel and the gang are back together!
Former All That co-stars Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg and Josh Server reunited last week to film an episode of MTV’s Wild ‘n Out. The former Nickelodeon documented their reunion on social media, sending ‘90s kids into a tizzy!
“#allthatreunion on @WildnOut today!” Josh tweeted. “We had a blast with the amazing cast and crew!!! Can’t wait for you guys to see it!! Thanks to Nick Cannon for having us #family!”
The official Instagram account for the show gave fans a sneak peek of the reunion by posting a video of the former co-stars in an elevator on set.
It is unknown what the ‘All That’ crew will be doing on Nick Cannon’s show, but Page Six reported that they were having so much fun on set that they filmed two extra games for the episode.
Apparently, the cast was not expecting Kenan to participate in the reunion, due to a schedule conflict. However, according to a rep for ‘Wild ‘n Out,’ he was able to make it to the set without any of his former ‘All That’ cast members knowing about his arrival.
“Crew members used the code name ‘Eagle’ in order for Kenan to surprise the cast and make a big entrance. Nick didn’t even know about it,” the rep said.
‘All That’ ran on Nickelodeon from 1994-2005 and was one of the first sketch comedy shows for kids.
Kenan and Kel starred on the show from 1994-1999 and then went on to star in their own show, Kenan and Kel, from 1996-2000. They also starred in the “Good Burger” movie in 1997. Kenan now stars on Saturday Night Live while Josh appears in Good Girls Revolt. Kel has been starring on the Nickelodeon show Game Shakers for the last three years, while Lori Beth Denberg has kept a low profile. (She returned to acting last year after a long hiatus.)
Actresses Amanda Bynes and Jamie Lynn Spears both got their starts on ‘All That,’ and Nick Cannon also made frequent appearances.
According to Page Six, the ‘All That’ episode of ‘Wild ‘n Out’ will air later this year.
