Amanda Stanton has made the leap from Bachelor Franchise contestant to Instagram “Influencer,” but, according to a new small claims lawsuit filed against her, she’s about as good at “influencing” as she was at finding love on ‘Bachelor’ shows!
TMZ broke the news earlier this week that Amanda— who made it to the Final 4 on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor and later had a failed engagement to Josh Murray on Bachelor in Paradise— is being sued for $4,996 by Moonstone Vintage LA, an online boutique that hawks pricey vintage designer merchandise. In the lawsuit’s legal docs, the shop claims it gave Amanda a Chanel purse worth $3,249. The agreement, according to the shop, was that Amanda would use the purse at Coachella (or ‘Chell as the “influencers say…groan) and tag the shop in posts made to her 1.2 million Instagram followers.
Moonstone Vintage LA claims that they even personally delivered the bag to Amanda so that she would have it in time to chill at ‘Chell with it.
“Amanda requested the rare, vintage, black leather quilted mini backpack as a last-minute accessory for her Coachella trip earlier this year,” TMZ reported. “Our sources say the store personally delivered it from Santa Monica to the desert. And, while Amanda did post with the purse … she tagged several other companies, but NOT Moonstone.”
Amanda posted the bag in a second Instagram post made from Coachella but, again, didn’t tag the shop…until two days later. She also reportedly kept the backpack. Now Moonstone Vintage LA wants Amanda to cough up $4996– the price of the bag, plus what it cost the shop to hand-deliver it to Amanda at the festival.
Amanda’s rep denied the shop’s claims in a statement released to TMZ, stating Amanda wasn’t even happy with the free bag. (Um…?)
“There was miscommunication between Amanda and the brand,” the rep said. “Amanda didn’t have full confidence in what she was advertising, and was trying to negotiate with the brand to cancel the deal. We are working to settle this privately.”
According to court docs obtained by The Ashley, Amanda is due to face the shop in a Santa Monica, California, small claims courtroom on October 22, where a non-jury trial has been scheduled.
This is not the first time Amanda has been in legal tizzy over a product given to her. In March 2017, her ex-fiance Josh Murray called the police on her because he wanted her to fork over the remaining $30,000 owed on the Audi Q5 he got her while they were still engaged, but Amanda refused. Josh got the police involved and Amanda returned the car to Josh.

Woah, she is hardly recognizable! Lots of work on her face apparently and I agree with above that she looks emaciated!
I’ve noticed most of the girls on the bachelor have had work done since they all have money now since they’re Instagram models
So if she was trying to cancel the Instagram deal, why did she use the purse? She should of sent it back then. She wanted it for herself obviously

Give. The. Bag. Back. She doesn’t deserve it. Nor does she qualify to even rep for a high quality luxury brand/store. This is what happens when people prop up do nothings. All she had to do was tag them. I hope moonstone has a contract with her.
