Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs are expecting their first child together!
The 90 Day Fiance stars shared their big news Tuesday on social media, telling fans they are excited and a little scared, but looking forward to sharing “the next chapter of [their] journey.”
Brandon and Julia also shared the news of their growing family on their respective social media pages, along with photos featuring Julia’s growing baby bump.
“There is so much to say, I will start with this, it is not usual for me and it is very strange to talk about this, but I have to start,” Julia wrote.
“Can’t believe I’m sharing this news,” Brandon captioned his post. “I am excited but nervous as I want to be the best Dad I can be.”
Naturally, Brandon’s post received many comments mentioning his meddling mother, Betty Gibbs, with one fan jokingly asking if Brandon had gotten his mom’s permission before getting Julia pregnant.
“The way Grandma Betty will be coming over 😂😂😂,” another fan wrote.
Meanwhile, other fans strongly advised Brandon to “set boundaries” with his parents prior to the arrival of his and Julia’s baby.
“Congratulations. I’m so happy for you 2 beautiful people,” one viewer commented. “You’re going to be wonderful parents! Please remind your Mom that she needs to respect your wife & adhere to the boundaries you & Julia clearly need to set!! But, I’m so happy for you guys!”
“Congratulations but plz put boundaries on your parents,” another fan added. “Your wife is absolutely right.”
As fans may remember, Julia and Brandon made their reality TV debut on Season 8 of “90 Day Fiance,” during which viewers watched as Julia moved from Russia to the United States to live with Brandon and his parents on their Virginia farm. At the time, Brandon and Julia were engaged after five months of long-distance dating and only seeing each other twice in person– the second of which, Brandon popped the question.
The pair went on to tie the knot in April 2020 and have since appeared on multiple spin-offs of the TLC franchise, including Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, 90 Day Diaries and Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort, according to People.
Brandon and Julia are also appearing on Season 8 of “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?” which is currently airing Sundays on TLC.

I feel for Brandon and Julia. Having their first child should make their lives even better but until Betty and her husband learn to back off their marriage is doomed to fail. Brandon needs to man up and change the locks on the doors and not give his parents a set of keys. And Betty and her husband need to understand it is not their house! Brandon is a mama’s boy and if he doesn’t put his wife and upcoming child first he may as well accept that Julia and their child will leave for good.
I am actually really happy for them- Betty or not. Hopefully she will be respectful- probably not but here’s hoping. Anyway- I’m happy for their new arrival and honestly can we just talk about Julia’s maternity pics? She is gorgeous and they are classy IMO!
Their baby shower gifts better include gift cards for a locksmith! Because sleep-deprived Julia is NOT going to entertain Grandma Betty’s antics.
On one hand, Brandon and Julia will have an on-call babysitter available anytime they want to have a “date night.” On the other hand, Betty is going to insist that she has rights as a grandmother and make an incredible nuisance of herself every step of the way.
An intoxicated one isn’t the most ideal.
I certainly hope that Brandon and Julia lay boundaries for Betty Gibbs, Brandon’s mother. She is a meddling parent and needs to not overstep her pushiness. At least she and her husband will not have a bedroom to call their own as their bedroom will become a nursery.

I’m surprised TLC was cool with this news coming out while the current season is still airing. Next week’s episodes description in my guide says “Julia receives news of her fertility results.” I would think TLC would want to keep the mystery up like most networks.

I stopped watching 90DF cause the show was waaay behind the casts’ social media posts/leaks & it got boring.
Nope. They don’t care. The only one that’s ever done it to any extent was abc The bachelor/bachelorette.
