Paedon Brown Says He Hasn’t Spoken to Dad Kody Since Garrison Brown’s 2024 Funeral; Addresses the Alleged Drama that Occurred at His Brother’s Service

“Well we’re definitely not making up NOW, umm…Aiden? Or was it Kayden…?”

Paedon Brown, one of Kody and ex-wife Christine Brown’s six children, has revealed that he and his father remain estranged, while seemingly confirming that certain events that took place at his brother Garrison Brown’s 2024 funeral only made their already strained relationship even worse.

As Sister Wives viewers know, Garrison– son of Kody and ex-wife Janelle Browndied in March 2024 by suicide at the age of 25. At the time of his death, Garrison– like many of the Brown siblings, including Paedon– was estranged from Kody. While answering questions from followers on social media recently, Paedon confirmed that he and his father remain on the outs

“I keep seeing [people asking], ‘Do you talk to your dad? Do you talk to your dad? Do you talk to your dad?’” Paedon said, as reported by Reality Tea. “A, first of all, would ya hate me if I did talk to him? B, no [I don’t talk to him].

“Last time I talked to him was a while ago,” Paedon continued. “Last time I had an actual physical conversation with him was at [Garrison’s] funeral.”

This is not the first time one of Kody’s kids mentioned an incident occurring at Garrison’s funeral. Despite Kody and Christine’s daughter Mykelti Brown maintaining a close relationship with both Kody and his only remaining wife Robyn Brown amid the Brown family shakeup that occurred within the last few years, Mykelti revealed last year that she was no longer “supportive” of her dad and Robyn due to something that happened at Garrison’s funeral that year.

(In Christine’s new book Sister Wife, she reveals that “Kody and Robyn even severed ties with” Mykelti, but she did not go into detail regarding why.)

While Mykelti and her husband, Tony Padron, told fans at the time that they would not be “talking about those events” publicly, some fans on Reddit suspected that Kody may have been referring to the incident on the Season 19 One-on-One when he claimed that PDA between he and Robyn had resulted in the two getting “kicked out” by the family. There were also fans of the show who theorized that Kody’s PDA claim was nothing but an attempt to garner sympathy from viewers or possibly a toned-down version of what he and Robyn actually did at Garrison’s service to upset Mykelti.

While no one in the Brown family has revealed what exactly Kody and Robyn did to warrant Mykelti’s statements, Paedon acknowledged during his recent Q&A that something did indeed happen.

“Not gonna talk about that,” Paedon stated during the Live. “Cause it did not go the way it could have gone. But it went a lot better than it could have gone. So there it is.

“It went the way it went,” he added.

While Paedon kept the events that took place at Garrison’s funeral vague on his Live, he did take a moment to express to his social media followers how much Garrison is missed “every single day.”

“ … knowing that I feel so, so terrible about the brother I lost is one of the most healing things that I can think of,” he said. “Knowing I feel bad is making me feel so much better because I wouldn’t feel bad if there wasn’t loss.

“ … I wouldn’t think about him every day, I wouldn’t have three photos of him in my room … [including one] by my bed, I wouldn’t have that if I didn’t feel so sad,” he continued. “And I feel so sad because he was so good, because he was such a good brother, because he meant so much to me … .”

Paedon’s recent comments about Kody come on the heels of Christine claiming in an interview that she would only accept an apology from her ex-husband once he fixed his relationships with their children, whom she said are “heartbroken” over the ongoing situation with their father.

” … that’s when I’ll accept the apology,” she said. “Like, take care of your kids, reach out to your kids, call them, spend time with them and work on that relationship and then at that point we can talk apology.”

Season 20 of ‘Sister Wives’ premieres Sunday, September 28 on TLC.

  1. its so strange to me for such a public family, they skirt around issues and speak on them but never actually say what’s happened, they take part in a reality show and still they aren’t just an open honest book to who they are and what they are about! They speak on certain issues and then dance around other issues speaking in code about what’s happened, like why who are you protecting! As a viewer its so frustrating… just say it!!!!!!!!

  2. Damn, it must suck to be a literal copy-paste (looks-wise and somewhat personality-wise) of your father who you hate.

Is the implication here that Kody and Robin were PDA-ing at his own son’s funeral?!?! Unless it is a supportive shoulder to cry on or a hand hold, I don’t see how ANY PDA is appropriate at such a tragic event. I’d never talk to my dad again either

  3. Paedon talks exactly like Kody emphasizing every other word. I think Paedon also shares the same thoughts as Kody. That’s why I can never respect either of them. They both seem to suck.
