During one of her recent TikTok Lives, Amber Portwood touted herself as a reality TV trailblazer, while insisting that she’s a rill college- educated woman.
As fans know, the former ‘Teen Mom’ star has spent more time rambling, ranting and rewriting history on the social media platform in the past year than she’s spent with seemingly any other human. This weekend was business as usual for the couch enthusiast, as she hopped onto TikTok Live to interact with her “fans,” as well as verbally spar with those trolling her in the comment section.
At one point during her Live, Amber claimed that having a lot of social media followers doesn’t impress her, as she managed to rack up more than “five million” just from being on a TV show– a TV show for which she claims to have “paved the way.”
“That’s hard! You don’t know what hard is,” Amber shouted to a literal stranger on the internet. “Don’t come for somebody who’s already paved the way and made waves! Began it and ended s**t. Don’t come at that person out of anybody, don’t come at that person!
“I promise you, they’re going to know more people, know more than you, be more wise about things and have way more experiences than you could ever understand! It’s another beast to be in the entertainment industry for 20 f**king years than here on TikTok.”
Amber has claimed multiple times on TikTok that she’s walked away from the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise; she reiterated that point more than once over the weekend, reminding her social media friends and foes that in doing so, she also walked away from “hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
When her career move was questioned by someone in the comments, Amber proceeded to slam the stranger while singing her own praises.
“Quit playing with me!” Amber yelled. “You’re not educated! Purdue Psychology top six out of 140 people! Don’t f**king play with me!”
‘Teen Mom’ fans may remember Amber enrolling in Purdue Global back in 2021, claiming at the time that she was pursuing a “Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Applied Behavioral Analysis.” After being accused in the comments of quitting the program before completion, Amber insisted that she “didn’t quit school,” before seemingly confirming that she actually did.
“ … I know you’re not talking about me [quitting], unless you’re talking about me starting the longest-running franchise and then ending it,” she said. “ … I had to go to [Teen Mom: Family Reunion], my job that was paying me at the time. I didn’t quit [school].”
Amber also stated on her Live that she doesn’t have any regrets in her life.
“Everything that I went through, no, I do not have any regrets,” she said. “Why? Because of the people I helped. Done. Like, it’s just done. I’m gonna keep doing what I’m doing, which is a beautiful thing today.”

I will say I have stumbled across both of them doing a live, and was surprised that Amber only had a little over two hundred viewers while Jenelle had a little over 3k. Amber has her comments locked down though with only serious donors or some other foolishness, while Jenelle lets anyone comment.
I am just thankful for the new glasses! That giant pair was driving me bonkers.

Amber enrolled in college shortly after learning that Christina was attending. Christina graduated and is now going places with a successful career, while Amber dropped out and remains stuck, moving only between her couch and her bed. Still unable to take care of her children.

Amber.. let me be the first to tell you- no one cares or is impressed that you were on a tv show about being a pregnant teen. You didn’t pave the way for anything. You have done nothing positive for your kids with the abundance of resources you have.
It really, REALLY is not something to be proud of, that you have tons of money and fame, yet lack the simplest of things- being an active parent in your kids lives, not having custody of either child. It takes a LOT for a mother to lose full custody TWICE.

Amber wasn’t even the top performing student on her own couch-which likely has the permanent stench of farts and desperation.
Also, you can’t just get that particular degree without first getting through the progression requirements, which she doesn’t have. THAT is why she “quit”, because there are at least 9 different, credited, courses she needs to take. Unlike some other colleges, nd portions of the actual program once enrolled, you can’t take these particular courses and whatever credit you received for them anywhere else. You MUST enroll and pass them at Purdue Global and complete them before you can apply for the degree program. She likely couldn’t even pass one singular course, much less all 9+. She doesn’t even have an associates degree anywhere to use as a springboard. That doesn’t even include the core requirements (9), major requirements (19, not including electives), and concentration requirements (4), plus general education and professional competency requirements (number varies) for the actual degree program. I don’t think she can count to 4, so any number higher than that is automatically out.
