A new season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days premieres next month with eight new geographically challenged couples hoping to turn their long-distance relationships into happily ever afters.

While the upcoming season will feature a lineup of all-new couples, fans can look forward to seeing a familiar face in the cast, as well as a franchise first as one legally married couple meet on-camera for the very first time. (Yes, really.) 

Meet the Season 8 couples below! 

Elise (Florida) & Joshua (Australia) 

Fresh off her appearance on 90 Day: Hunt for Love is 32-year-old Miami real estate agent Elise, who is preparing to meet her boyfriend of 5 months, 39-year-old Joshua, a yacht broker from Sydney. While Elise and Josh are embracing their whirlwind romance– which began on Instagram– Elise is bringing a history of broken engagements to the relationship and both she and “thrill-seeking” Josh must deal with friends who are skeptical of the couple’s pairing. 

Annalyn (Philippines) & Jovon (Alabama)

Making a memorable franchise debut in the upcoming season are Jovon and Annalyn, both 38, who are already legally wed, but meeting face-to-face for the very first time. Annalyn and Jovon’s six-year online romance began on Filipino Cupid and the two ultimately tied the knot in a virtual wedding during the pandemic. 

This season, viewers will watch as the husband and wife (finally) meet in person and begin to navigate the different expectations they have regarding money, lifestyle and gender roles– all of which make their IRL husband and wife experience even more complicated than they imagined. 

Laura (Washington) & Birkan (Turkey)

Like many 90 Day Fiancé love stories, Laura and Birkan’s romance began on social media. After a few short weeks, 47-year-old Laura– a “fun-loving and active romantasy novel enthusiast”– and 26-year-old Birkan– who is described as “quiet and philosophical”– were already discussing marriage. 

Unfortunately, the twosome are facing a 20-year age gap, as well as doubters in the form of Laura’s parents. Oh, AND Laura’s best friend Michal might be “secretly in love with her,” so there’s that. 

Sheena (Philippines) & Forrest (Oregon)

Sheena and Forrest are both virgins and finally meeting in person after seven years of long-distance dating. While Sheena has spent countless hours watching Forrest’s daily life through his home security cameras, she and Forrest are more than ready to connect in person.

Unfortunately for Forrest and security-cam loving Sheena, Forrest’s parents are tagging along on his trip to “investigate the red flags”– specifically those involving Sheena’s mysterious family. 

Lisa (Pennsylvania) & Daniel (Nigeria)

Lisa is a 51-year-old woman with a “color romantic history” who is ready to fly across the world to meet 39-year-old Daniel, a Nigerian man she met on social media. While Daniel doesn’t know it (yet), the woman he fell in love with has been married five times and has been living as a lesbian for the last 21 years. 

Between the uncertainty that Daniel (and his conservative family) will not accept her past, and the “questions swirling about money and trust,” Lisa’s romance with Daniel may be over before it really begins.  

Aviva (Arizona) & Stig (Belize) 

Aviva, 26, is traveling to Belize to meet her rapper boyfriend Stig, 30, following a two-year online connection that began with a social media video. 

While Aviva is ready to settle down with her stage-performing beau, Stig’s public persona comes with a lot of rumors, causing Aviva and those close to her to doubt whether the rapper can hack it in a real relationship. 

Emma (California) & Ziad (Morocco) 

Emma, 28, met Ziad, 27, on an international dating app, where she was quickly swept up by his charm. While Emma is heading to Morocco with the hope that Ziad will put a ring on her finger, she’s yet to tell him that she was previously engaged to another Moroccan man. In the upcoming season, viewers will watch as Emma begins to suspect that Ziad may be keeping some secrets of his own, causing her to question the legitimacy of their love story.  

Trisha (Madagascar) & Rick (California)

Rick, a 52-year-old “jack-of-all-trades” and divorced single father, believes he’s found the woman who can complete his family in Trisha, a 25-year-old midwife from Madagascar. Although the (seemingly) happy couple have been planning a future together, trust issues remain after Trisha recently ghosted Rick, causing their in-person relationship to get off on a bad note. 

The new season of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” premieres Sunday, December 7 on TLC.
