A month after 90 Day Fiancé star Veronica Rodriguez and her fiancé Seth Daryoushfer were arrested in North Carolina, charges against the two have been dismissed due to neither party being willing to testify against the other, Starcasm reports.
As The Ashley told you last month, Veronica was booked into a North Carolina jail and charged with misdemeanor Domestic Violence; Seth was also booked into jail, where he was charged with misdemeanor Assault on a Female. According to court records obtained by The Ashley, Veronica was accused of using “physical force” against Seth and of “striking him in the face.” Meanwhile, Veronica accused Seth of assaulting her.
“Seth held/grabbed Veronica causing scratches to her wrists and thighs,” the Magistrate Order obtained by The Ashley stated.
While Veronica and Seth– who bonded out of jail shortly after their respective arrests– were set to appear in court March 3, Starcasm exclusively reported on Monday that the charges against the two were dropped by the prosecutor this week because neither Veronica nor Seth were willing to testify against the other, with both asserting their Fifth Amendment rights as part of their refusal to testify.
According to the outlet, because the cases were “voluntary dismissals without leave” by the District Attorney, there is not an option for the cases to be reinstated, unless there are new charges that are filed separately.
As fans of the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise may remember, Veronica made her TLC debut on Season 3 of Before the 90 Days, when her best friend/former fiancé Tim Malcolm was dating Jeniffer Tarazona. Veronica and Tim have gone on to appear on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, as well as other “90 Day Fiancé” spinoffs.
In 2022, Veronica starred (sans Tim) on Season 3 of 90 Day: The Single Life while dating Justin Foster. After she and Justin called it quits, Veronica began a short-lived relationship with former “90 Day Fiancé” star Kim Menzies’ son Jamal before going on become Instagram official with Seth in January 2025.
Seth went on to propose to Veronica in Venice in September, with the couple announcing that they planned to tie the knot in 2026.
In addition to racking up multiple appearances on “90 Day Fiancé” over the years, Veronica has also had multiple run-ins with the law. The 40 year-old’s rap sheet includes a 2006 arrest in Florida for multiple felonies– including three battery charges– after she allegedly struck a paramedic and police officer who arrived on the scene after she was involved in a traffic accident. (Two of the felony battery charges were later downgraded to misdemeanors and were dismissed in April 2006 when the District Attorney decided not to prosecute.)
Veronica was also arrested for DWI in North Carolina in 2016.
