A new social-experiment dating series premiering on Netflix in March will set out to prove that age is just a number.
“Age is thrown out the window when singles search for their soulmates, but will the years come between them?” the synopsis for Age of Attraction reads.
Hosted by former Bachelor star Nick Viall and wife Natalie Joy– who co-host The Viall Files podcast and have an 18-year age gap themselves, according to People– ‘Age of Attraction’ will follow a group of single men and women between the ages of 22 and 59, as they try their hand at love without knowing each other’s ages.

“Here, age is just a number,” Natalie says in the trailer. “You’ll be dating without ever knowing how old your partner is.”
While one ageless single in the newly released trailer notes that she doesn’t know if her potential suitors are her age, her dad’s age or her grandpa’s age, others seem more confident that they will make a connection through the unique dating experiment.
“When you tell people your age, they put a stigma to that,” one woman remarks in the trailer, with another single adding, “The truth is, when love is there and love is real, age won’t matter.”

As the trailer goes on, viewers get to see one of the couples who appear to be hitting it off, despite their obvious age gap.
“You want to hear something absolutely insane,” one contestant tells her date after a discussion about oyster shooters. “All this chat about aphrodisiacs and everything that it leads to … like, in a regular situation, I would probably want to fix you up with my daughter.”

The woman later reveals to viewers that her oldest child is 29 before admitting that she’s “petrified” the man she’s interested in is “too young” for her. While she suspects that her potential love match is in his 30s, the man hints that he may be much younger than that.
“Everyone thinks I’m significantly older than I am,” he says. “I think I’m going to shock her.”
Before the big age reveal, the man jokingly asks the woman if she has her seatbelt on.

‘Age of Attraction’ premieres March 11 on Netflix. The first five episodes will drop first, followed by episodes 6-8 on March 18 and the Season 1 finale on March 25.
