There’s been an “unexpected” development in the relationship of Unexpected Season 7 stars Isabella Leal-Stone and Bryce Palmer: the couple is reportedly engaged.
According to Bryce’s Facebook status, the proposal took place on February 7. Isabella also announced the engagement on her Facebook page but has since taken it down or made it private.
Isabella apparently accepted Bryce’s proposal, as a video of her flashing her engagement ring was posted to her TikTok.
In the comment section of the video, Isabella responded to a fan who wrote, “Bryce finally got his s**t together.”
“Ain’t putting up with that s**t,” she replied.
(Isabella also got a lot of comments encouraging her not to marry Bryce, who didn’t make a great impression when the couple was introduced to fans earlier this month during the premiere of the show’s seventh season.)
Isabella— who was 18 at the time of filming and 19 now— gave birth to their daughter Haisley in May 2025. (Although Bryce has been private on his social media, Isabella released a statement in January requesting privacy for her baby from fans ahead of the season.)
“I think because I was so young, when I found out I was pregnant, I was scared,” she explained in the episode. “I literally laid on the floor and was like, ‘Oh f**k no. What am I gonna do? I already know my mom’s gonna kill me.’”
Isabella and Bryce, who is also 18, had been dating for a year at the time of filming (which, considering Haisley’s birthday, is around early April 2025).
Isabella will probably be best remembered in the ‘Unexpected’ universe for her explanation of losing her virginity. (She explained that she lost her virginity at 14 to another boy— not Bryce— and that she never received “the sex talk.”)
“I didn’t even know we had sex,” she laughed, and when asked to explain, she said she didn’t know because “his pee bird was little.”
No, seriously…
She explained that she regretted having sex early and wished she would’ve “saved [herself] for marriage”: “If I knew what I know now, I wouldn’t have sex.”
It is unknown if things between Isabella’s family and Bryce have improved since filming. As viewers saw, Isabella’s mother Tasha seemed to have little use for Bryce and his lack of maturity.
“The first time I ever met Bryce was at [Isabella’s] dad’s funeral, and he acted stupid. Like, Isabella’s dad just died and he made a whole scene because it’s always Bryce first,” she explained. “If you can’t act like a mature young man at a funeral, then how is he gonna be a mature young man for their baby?”
Tasha told audiences that she thought Bryce was going to skip out of Isabella’s life once she got pregnant.
“[When she told me she was pregnant], I said, ‘Oh great. I’m gonna have to take care of another baby. It’s gonna be another baby that doesn’t have a dad,’” she said. “I just think that Bryce doesn’t think he has to have any accountability or has to put anything into… the whole baby situation. He’s gonna expect you to work, you to come home, you to cook, you to take care of the baby, clean because he has no responsibilities.
Tasha shared that Bryce had promised that he would be there and do his part as a partner and a father, but she claims she hasn’t seen it yet.
It does appear that Bryce and Isabella have made some progress in being independent. On Facebook, Isabella recently revealed that she and Bryce had been/ still are living in an RV.
