The Johnston family feud continues!
Anna Johnston is not happy that her estranged family members have continued to discuss her on 7 Little Johnstons, despite her no longer appearing on the show. Following Tuesday’s premiere of Season 17, TLC posted a clip from the episode to Instagram that showed the Johnstons discussing their current feud with Anna.
This prompted Anna to hop into the post’s comment section to give her thoughts on her family continuing to film about her. She also questioned why the show’s name hasn’t been changed to reflect the current state of the family.
“All of our children have the opportunity and the freedom to participate in the show,” Anna’s mom, Amber, stated during the episode. “The ones that have chosen to participate are participating and the ones that have not are not.” (The show also put out a disclaimer in the episode to confirm that Anna chose not to be a part of the show.)

Anna was quick to comment on the post to tell her family and the show’s producers exactly how she felt about still being used as a storyline.
“You guys are hilarious to still talk about me when I’m not even on the show,” she wrote.
When a commenter accused her of “still following” the show and her family on social media, she questioned, “Who am I following?”
(As of press time, Anna does not follow the “7 Little Johnstons” family Instagram page or TLC. Out of the family members, she only follows her younger brother, Alex, and her Aunt Heidi. Heidi, who is her dad Trent’s sister, has been quietly supporting Anna throughout the feud and has also been rumored to have been cut from the show.)
Anna also questioned why she’s still being featured in the promotional materials for the show.
“So why is it still called ‘[7] Little [Johnstons]’” she wrote. “And why [does] the cover photo still have me in it?”
Fans have come to Anna’s defense and are even calling for TLC to cancel the show. Many commenters have called out Amber for her cold demeanor towards her daughter.
“When Anna is mentioned, I see instant pain in Trent’s eyes. And, complete disdain in Amber’s,” one fan wrote in the post’s comment section. (As fans can recall, Trent finally took accountability and steps to reconcile with Anna at the end of last season.)
“Amber cannot or will not admit that she hates Anna because she cannot control her,” another fan commented. “Has Anna done some things she shouldn’t have? Yes. But, so has Liz and Jonah both. The difference is Liz and Jonah were told to move back home and they did. Anna is on her own and apologized for what she did. Trent and Amber do not want to accept her apology because it’s easier without her being around.”
The family and TLC have not responded to Anna’s recent comments.
