Unexpected star Misty “Mama G” Georgeff is responding to claims recently made by her co-stars Bella and Falen Vaughn that the show is “scripted” and that events and actions shown on ‘Unexpected’ are “fake.”
Earlier this week, Bella and her mom Falen went on TikTok Live to slam the show’s producers for not showing their true story and to insinuate that they were prompted by producers to do and say things for the show.
“I went on the show to share my story,” Bella said. “I was not aware that it was going to be fake. So fake, to the point where all the hate I’m getting is because I said something I had to say. [Producers] just kind of threw us out to the wolves. They didn’t tell us what would happen.”

When asked on the Live what events from the show were “fake,” Bella claimed that “probably everything you seen on the show [was fake] except my C-section, and Hunter being stood up [by his dad]. That was not fake.”
Bella went on to say that “reality TV is so bad” and that she would “never recommend it to anyone.”

In the comment section of the Live, a number of fans wrote that they felt Falen and Bella were “backpedaling” on their words and actions this season (many of which have been called inappropriate by fans). The Vaughns’ actions on-camera (such as Falen allowing Bella and her 13-year-old boyfriend Hunter Johnson to shower together or talk about anal sex on-camera) have also been harshly criticized by Hunter’s father, Casey— who recently filed for full custody of Hunter and Bella’s infant son Wes.
Casey also filed motions in court for full custody of Hunter, and to ban Hunter from being around Bella and her family when Casey’s not present.

Fans accused the Vaughns of claiming the show is fake in an attempt help themselves in the pending court cases against Hunter’s dad.
Another person who seemed to believe that the claims made by Bella and Falen were an attempt to explain away their questionable behavior was Amya’s mom Misty (aka “Mama G”). Not long after the Vaughns’ Live, Mama G hoped on TikTok Live herself to set the record straight about ‘Unexpected’ being “fake” or “scripted.”
“It is not scripted!” Mama G stated. “Whoever is saying that is trying to cover their own ass for s**t!”

Mama G said that producers will ask the cast members what’s happening in their lives and sometimes plan filming accordingly. She gave an example of when she told producers that she was going to babysit so Amya could go on a date with her baby daddy Jose. According to Mama G, the producers asked her to schedule a date again for when a camera crew could come to film it. (She added that production offered to pay for the date.)
“So that was set up, but if you call that ‘scripted?’ That’s not scripted to me,” she said.
Mama G also made it clear that she and her family were treated very well by the show’s production, despite the claims Bella and her mom made.
Mama G is not the first Season 7 cast member to speak out on social media against Falen. Last month, Isabella Leal-Stone took to TikTok Live to express her dislike for Falen, as well as her concern for Bella, whom she claims is being raised by a “f**king psycho.”

“I feel bad for her daughter,” she said. “That’s all I’m gonna say. I’m praying for that girl. I hope when she turns 18, she runs as far away as she can get.”
In a comment left on Facebook after Bella and Falen made the comments about the show being fake, Isabella also clarified that the show “is not scripted.”
