Christian Richard may want to look into purchasing some real estate near the local jail after winding up in handcuffs not once, but twice within the span of 33 hours this week.
As The Ashley previously reported, the husband of former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence.
According to Page Six, after being released from custody on Wednesday, the RealOpen founder was then arrested again–- this time for a misdemeanor charge for returning to his and Christine’s house, despite his wife having a restraining order in place against him.
Christian’s first arrest of the week occurred shortly after the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call at the couple’s home on Tuesday around 2 p.m. relating to a domestic dispute that resulted in the pair’s two-year-old son, Christian Georges Dumontet, getting injured.
“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury,” the LAPD told the outlet, while also confirming that the child injured was Christine’s son. “The child was seen by paramedics but not transported to the hospital.”
(A source told Page Six that the couple’s son was ultimately taken to the emergency room via ambulance later on Tuesday and that Christine rode in the ambulance with the two-year-old.)
Photographs showed Christian being taken into custody from his home while handcuffed, barefoot and wearing only a bathrobe. Christian– whose legal name is Christian Demontet– was reportedly booked for an assault with a deadly weapon (felony level).
Christian was being held on a $30,000 bond, but released on custody Wednesday before scoring his second arrest of the week– this time, reportedly while wearing clothes.
According to Page Six, Christian was released on bond Thursday morning and has a court date set for April 11.
In the wake of this week’s events, Christine is allegedly planning to divorce her husband of four years.
“Christine Quinn is planning on leaving Christian,” a source told Us Weekly. “She’s planning on filing for divorce.”
Christine and Christian have been married since 2019. As of press time, it does not appear that either party has filed for divorce.
