HGTV’s New Series ‘Zillow Gone Wild’ Gives Viewers a Tour of the Country’s Wildest Homes For Sale

Things are getting wild at HGTV.

Get ready to tour some of the country’s wildest, weirdest, wackiest and most wondrous homes.

This week, HGTV announced a new real estate series, Zillow Gone Wild, set to premiere on the network in May. The series– inspired by the popular Instagram account of the same name, @zillowgonewild– will be hosted by actor and comedian Jack McBrayer.

“Say hello to Jack McBrayer, host of our new real estate show #ZillowGoneWild – hitting HGTV on May 3 🚨,” HGTV announced in a joint post with @zillowgonewild on Instagram. “(And yes, it’s based on *that* @zillowgonewild account you love.)”

In the new series, viewers will watch as Jack tours one-of-a-kind abodes that are currently on the market, while meeting some interesting characters along the way.

“Everyone loves to scroll endlessly, looking at all the pretty houses for sale online,” Jack said in an HGTV announcement for the new show. “But I’m on a mission to find out the story behind America’s strangest and most extraordinary homes. I want to meet the owners and, most importantly, see for myself what’s inside.”

Throughout the season, Jack will introduce viewers to individuals who have “embraced non-traditional homes,” while revealing creative ways to market unique properties.

“The series will explore each home’s unique history, as well as the intriguing backstories of the buyers and sellers in nine weekly episodes,” HGTV said of ‘Zillow Gone Wild.’ “Each abode will be ranked on attributes such as creativity, commitment to the theme and unique qualities.”

The season will conclude with HGTV proclaiming one of the homes as the “Wildest House” of all.

As the season concludes, viewers have a chance to win $25,000 by correctly guessing which home will take home the title. The eight finalist will be announced on the penultimate episode of ‘Zillow Gone Wild,’ after which, viewers can visit www.hgtv.com/wild to cast their vote for the “most wild.” All submissions that match the winning home revealed on the June 28 finale will be automatically entered in the network’s Wild and Win Contest, where one winner will be randomly selected.

‘Zillow Gone Wild’ premieres May 3 on HGTV. New episodes of the series will  be available to stream on MAX the same day.
