Kody Brown has often been accused by his ex-wives and kids of not caring about their needs, and now some of his co-stars on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test are accusing the curly haired former polygamist of the same thing.
In a new interview with Us Weekly, ‘Special Forces’ star Gia Giudice confirmed her previous statement that some of the cast found the Sister Wives star hard to get along with.
“People, obviously, had some issues with him,” she told the magazine, before going on to state that it was Kody’s selfishness that often caused problems.
“There were just scenarios — which you guys will see on ‘Special Forces’ — where, maybe, he wasn’t being the best team player and he wasn’t looking out for the people who were on his team and more so just looking out for himself and the end goal to win.”

Gia stated that she has “no beef” currently with Kody, but revealed that some of their castmates were not thrilled with the way the ‘Sister Wives’ star handled things.
“But I wouldn’t say that he was the best team player in certain situations,” she said. “I think he was trying to be and then at certain points things would pop out and then they would get some people a little annoyed. But we really had such an amazing cast.”
This is not the first time that cast members hinted that they had issues with The Curled One. After the cast was announced, Gia, as well as Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, claimed that they didn’t exactly get along with the father of 18 during filming. Kody didn’t respond when the comments were made; however, this week he finally addressed the situation during multiple interviews.
“I am Gen X and half the cast was Gen Z,” he told Us Weekly, before adding that he didn’t feel the conflict that others are talking about.
“I felt like I got along. I honestly felt like I got along with Gia,” he said.

“There was a point where we’re forced to make a choice about something and I just got as deadly honest about it as I could,” Kody said.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kody again suggested that his age may have been to blame. (At 56, Kody is the oldest competitor on this season of the show.)
“I’m Gen X, man,” he said. “It’s just a different culture and most of them were younger than my children or I was old enough to be their parent.”

He did admit, however, that a certain body part got in his way at times (and, no, he wasn’t talking about his “six-pack abs.”)
“I have a big mouth!” he said, noting that some of his exchanges with cast members during challenges were meant to be “very generous,” though some “people think of it as being bossy.”
Kody also admitted that, in some of these interactions, he may have come across as “demanding”; however, he still seemed to suggest that he wasn’t the problem.
“It’s funny … I think I’m friendly,” he added.

During his press day interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kody was joined by co-star Johnny Manziel, who denied that Kody was hard to get along with. In fact, he claimed that he and the ‘Sister Wives’ star had “trauma bonding” after going through some of the show’s difficult stunts together.
“I had a great experience [with Kody],” Johnny said. “I needed him in multiple ways throughout the show. Definitely from the very beginning we shared an experience that— knowing nothing about each other going into it— I enjoyed being around him.”

“I make friends quickly and I don’t let anything people view as annoying or negative— anything like that— I don’t let it affect me because I may not understand you as a whole or everything about your story, but I’m going to respect you and have a great relationship with you regardless,” Johnny added.
“I appreciate his respect because I probably was annoying!” Kody responded.

Season 4 of ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’ premieres Thursday, September 25 on Fox. Click here to check out the full cast of competitors.

Kody Brown difficult to get along with? Say it ain’t so! Why saying that is like a knife to the kidneys! Good grief. It is surprising Kody would admit to having a big mouth but a friendly guy? With a friend like him who needs enemies.
Kootie is the only one of this cast that I’ve watched since Season 1, episode 1, of Sister Wives. I haven’t even heard of many of the others. Knowing how self-centered and narcissistic Kootie is, no surprise most of the cast didn’t think much of him.
I hope Kootie makes an ass of himself, and gets dumped early on. Loosing 3 out of 4 wives doesn’t speak well of him.
Well if I am going to take anyone’s opinion on how rational and easy to get along with I am it’s definitely Johnny Manziel he is like a bead on of good decision making and rational thinking s/
Shut up Gia
