It’s a Girl! 19-Year-Old ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Priscilla Robertson Welcomes First Child with Boyfriend Dillon Nash

“There’s a new little duckling in our neck of the woods!”

The Duck Dynasty gang continues to grow.

On Wednesday, Priscilla Robertson— the teen daughter of Jep and Jessica Robertson— announced that she has given birth to her first child. The baby— whose father is Priscilla’s boyfriend Dillon Nash—- was born on Monday, October 6.

“Our beautiful baby is here,” 19-year-old Priscilla captioned a photo posted to Instagram Stories showing the baby’s hand.

Dillion also posted about the birth of their daughter, revealing that he and Priscilla chose the name August Mae Nash for their baby girl.

“On October 6th I was blessed with the responsibility and the title to become a father,” he wrote on Instagram. “I am so blessed to be able to take care of this beautiful little girl and do it with the love of my life @priscillajunerobertson We are proud to welcome August Mae Nash to the World.”

Priscilla’s pregnancy was first announced back in July, when her mom Jessica shared the news on social media via an announcement that was criticized by fans who felt it was shaming Priscilla for becoming an unwed teen mom.

The very religious Robertsons made it clear that they were not thrilled about the unplanned pregnancy, expressing that the role of knocked-up teen was not one they had predicted for their daughter. They did, however, praise Priscilla and her boyfriend Dillion for keeping the baby.

“This isn’t the plans we had laid out for Priscilla but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings!” Jessica captioned a series of snapshots featured Priscilla and her baby bump. “We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillion chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl!”

Since then, Priscilla and Dillon have been thrown multiple baby showers by both families and their friends. While Priscilla and Dillon have received mostly positive comments on social media regarding the pregnancy, some fans have questioned why the teens didn’t choose to get married before their baby was born, due to Priscilla’s religious upbringing.

“Why no marriage?” one person wrote in the comment section of a post about one of Priscilla’s baby showers. “Because of all your family values and that of your parents I’m surprised that being married before your child arrived would be the best option.”

Jep and Jessica’s second-oldest child, 21-year-old Merritt, is also set to become a mom this year, as she and husband Tyler Metro are expecting their first child in December. (Jessica and Jep are also parents to 23-year-old Lilly, 16-year-old son River and nine-year-old son Gus.)

  1. You can make plans for your kids futures all you want but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because it’s their life not yours.

  2. Ashley, Merritt is 21 not 20…also, when you mentioned Jess and Jep were also the parents of 16 year old River and 9 year old Gus you forgot to mention 23 year old Lily

  3. Not can be fail but it also can have adverse effects on your body like creating irregular periods as well as issues with the liver and kidneys.

  4. Glorified baby mama. Used to be ashamed to be out of wedlock.
I also suppose these folks don’t give their children any kind of sexual education or believe in birth control.

    1. They’re taking responsibility for their child and their families are being supportive while still acknowledging that the pregnancy wasn’t planned or the ideal situation.

Did you want her to be sent away for nine months and then secretly give the baby up for adoption or what?

      1. Exactly Magan, @My name seems to think we’re still living in the 1950s where it was taboo…someone needs to give he/she a wakeup call and scream WELCOME TO 2025!!!!

    2. I don’t know this family, and I don’t have conservative beliefs, myself. But medicinal birth control can and does fail. Condoms break. We don’t know for certain if that’s the case with Priscilla, or if she was raised not to use it, but if that hasn’t been disclosed, it’s not fair to presume too much. Sometimes young people try to take things to prevent pregnancy and they’re just incredibly fertile, regardless.

I believe the dates are wrong with some of the articles and reporting. Priscilla turned 19 in August, which means she conceived at age 18. Her decisions about reproductive health would have all been her own to legally make, albeit a conservative upbringing influenced those beliefs. Just hope it’s a healthy, happy baby with parents that stay together in a healthy, happy commitment.

Being raised by married parents who are toxic and unhappy leaves serious scars.

    3. You can directly respond to me. You don’t need to @ me in another comment. Thanks.

Second, I didn’t cuss at you. Pls don’t cuss at me. Thanks.

Third. I wasn’t aware I needed to support bad decisions. This isn’t my child nor my family, so they don’t need nor do I owe my support or happiness about it. Thanks.
