On Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown attempted to use his mid-moving-day body odor to woo his only remaining wife Robyn amid their ongoing adjustment to “this monogamy thing.”
Now there’s a sentence we’d never thought we’d have to type!
During the episode, viewers watched as Kody and Robyn continued packing up their Mountain Mansion in preparation for the move to their new (bigger, more expensive) Mountain Mansion. While filling boxes and wrapping furniture with the help of Kody’s younger brother Michael Brown, the father of 18 warned his wife and brother, “I can smell my own armpits and it’s gross.”
Just when we thought Kody’s disgusting factor had reached a new level, he proceeded to invite his “shy and pretty” wife Robyn to get a whiff of his masculine musk.
“Why don’t you come over here and smell my pheromones?” Kody asked Robyn, before telling Michael, “ … I’m always peacocking at [Robyn]– something I’d never do with another woman.”
The putrid-smelling former polygamist then explained to viewers that, because he and Robyn have been “moving for months,” they’ve not had many opportunities for romance. So much, in fact, that he claimed they’ve “become battle buddies, not lovers.”
Strangely, Kody believed that sharing his stink with his spouse would somehow improve their current dynamic.
“I’m just flirting around here, just having fun with it,” he said. “Like, making my stinky body something romantic. ‘Hey, you smell those pheromones? Mmhmm, it means you’re digging on me. You like that smell? Is there a stank on me that’s making you go, ooh, that handsome man?’”
While Robyn didn’t exactly turn down Kody’s odd flirtation tactic, she informed him that she wouldn’t be giving him attention for it either.
“I’ll give you attention when you’re not doing it,” she said of his “peacocking” and such.
Robyn went on explain that when Kody was still married to ex-wives Meri, Janelle and Christine, PDA was something Kody and each of his wives avoided doing in front of each other. Now that’s it’s just her and Kody, Robyn said she’s still learning to get comfortable with the idea of showing affection in public.
“ … when it came to anything public, I just would shy away from flirting with [Kody],” she said. “Now I’m having to kind of get comfortable with it.”
Kody shared a similar take, but added that he’s optimistic that with time, Robyn will “get used to this monogamy thing” and even feel comfortable enough initiate PDA herself one day.
“I want to be walking down the street with her someday, maybe in a shopping mall or something like that, and have her just slap my ass,” Kody said. “That’s when I know that she’s comfortable with her and I.”
Later in the episode, Michael asked Kody how Robyn was liking “being the only wife,” to which Kody reiterated that Robyn married into the Brown family “under the premise of plural marriage,” only for that to eventually fall apart within a span of two years.
While Robyn admitted to viewers that “being the only wife is great in some ways,” she said there are also ways in which it’s “not great.”
“This was not the life that I expected and not the life that I planned for myself,” she said. “And while I love Kody, I did not ever intend or expect or want to have him to myself.
“I always wanted to live plural marriage,” Robyn continued. “I wanted to live my religion.”

Careful what you wish for Robin. I have a feeling she regrets having to deal with him one on one by the way she looks at him with disdain but she sells her soul to the devil in order to escape her previous life.
Robyn wanted the plural life that she had… a faux demonstrative one. One in name and recognized by the church.
Being able to say it.
She had full monogamy in all the ways that matter, and polygamous only where it suited.
And… NEVER wanted?… never planned?except when she did… and had 3 kids, then bankrupt and destroyed her monogamous husband.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that as I watched that episode and Kody started talking, I genuinely gagged. Eyes watering, body lurching forward, the full reaction. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever physically gagged at something on TV before. That moment was so repulsive, I had to shut the TV off.
Could that idiot be any more gross? Does he think stinkiness is a virtue?
Anyone who thinks he’s such a macho alpha male, is in fact, a zeta male a**hole.

Not only does he have the emotionally maturity of a 13 year old boy but know we know he has the hygiene of one as well. I remember parents night when my son was in fifth or sixth grade and the teacher begged us to make out children deodorant. And all of the parents laughed because we felt the poor teacher’s pain.

Robyn can say what she will but her end goal was to have Kody to herself. She can say she wanted the plural life but did she ever stand up for any of the other women when Kody berated them? Hell no. She put the blame on the women and not that piece of garbage she married. As for Kody thinking he is so manly…get over yourself you piece of garbage.
There was so much disgusting yuck and wayyyyy TMI in this episode. Being disgusting, continue to make juvenile comments about it, and smelling like shit on top of it isn’t the flex Kody obviously thinks it is. I had to end up fast-forwarding through a big part of this episode. This season so far is squarely in the crapper.
