It’s (another) boy for Kayla Sessler!
The Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant star announced on Thursday that she and her boyfriend Ryan Leigh welcomed their second child together, a baby boy. This is the fourth child for Kayla and third for Ryan.
In an Instagram post, Kayla revealed she and Ryan named their son— who was actually born on October 7— Zain Khailyn. The baby weighed in at 6 lbs., 11 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long.

This marks the first time Kayla officially confirmed she had given birth, although on Halloween she posted photos of the baby with her other kids in their costumes.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Kayla and Ryan share 19-month-old son Zyaire, and Kayla is also the mother of seven-year-old Izaiah (whose dad is her ex Stephan Alexander) and six-year-old Ariah (whom she shares with ex-fiancé Luke Davis.) Ryan is the father of nine-year-old Zander from another relationship.
Kayla and Ryan have had a very on-and-off relationship. The couple appeared on Teen Mom Family Reunion last year and spent the majority of the time debating whether or not they wanted to stay together— despite Kayla being pregnant with Zyaire at the time— after it was revealed that Ryan cheated on Kayla.
While Kayla received plenty of well wishes from fans and some of her ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars, other comments advised her to stop having so many kids.
“Slow down on the kiddos u might pass up Kail,” one fan wrote, obviously referring to ‘Teen Mom’ mother of seven, Kail Lowry.
“God one more. Congrats but really when do u get money for all these kids,” someone else wrote.
Kayla announced the pregnancy back in September, with the post also serving as an announcement that she and Ryan were back together after the cheating scandal had seemingly split them up.
“Our final addition,” Kayla captioned a photo posted to Instagram featuring her (and her baby bump), as well as Ryan and their combined four kids frolicking in front of the Chicago skyline and on the beach.

Kayla got some negative comments for both for getting back with Ryan and for having more babies despite not having a stable relationship. In regard to her comment about Baby No. 4 being her “final addition,” a fan brought up that Kayla has said that she’s done having kids before.
“You said that last time but congratulations,” the fan wrote.
“I told my doctor to take my tubes out 😂😂 but thank you,” Kayla replied.
“Final baby daddy?” another person wrote.
Kayla is not the only ‘Young & Pregnant’ star who is back in Baby Land. Her second baby daddy, Luke, recently welcomed a baby girl with his girlfriend. In addition, Kayla’s co-star Kiaya Elliott announced that she and her baby daddy X’Zayveon Gambrell are expecting their second child together. Kiaya is due to give birth in January.

Teen mom started with the premise of stopping teen pregnancy. The concept was teaching teens how and why not to get pregnant. Then it culminated into a show which glamorizes teen pregnancy, and showing how to profit from having more kids. It now shows these “teens” using their status on the show to branch out to porn and only fans to whore themselves out for money. The only ones suffering are the kids. Looking at you Farrah and Jenelle. Morgan , Larry,and Drew should be ashamed of the legacy they created for these children. SMH
You’re absolutely right. I will admit watching the show as a young teen myself I thought wow they have cars, houses, they sit around on couches in sweats and just hold the baby all day. Gossip with their friends. No idea why this somehow appealed to me.
I keep on forgetting who was the girl on the show who admitted the show made her want to be a teen mom….was it Mack? I forgot who it was but I have def heard of that…now imagine how many girls did that and didn’t end up on the show!
100% correct. I honestly have never seen Drew as a good guy, but as a man who wantd to appear good and most if his energy went to appearances not reality if that makes sense. My spine feels like a pretzel right now so hard to focus.

I married a gay guy. Idk if Ryan is gay or not because I’ve never watched him but people need to understand how common it actually is.. lots of married men are gay and involved with other men behind their wife’s back.
