Former ‘Bachelor’ Star Madison Prewett Says She Loves “Being a Submissive Wife” to Husband Grant Troutt; Claims It’s Her “Favorite Thing”

We’ll take your word for it, girl.

Just months after former Bachelor contestant Madison Prewett admitted on her podcast to once struggling with addictions to p0rnography and masturbation, the 28-year-old is now opening up about her role as a “submissive wife” to husband Grant Troutt– something she claims is her “favorite thing.”

Madi, who competed on Peter Weber’s season of ‘The Bachelor’ in 2020, opened up about her and husband Grant’s marriage dynamic on the latest episode of their Stay True podcast, with Madi revealing to listeners that she learned how to become a “submissive wife” after she and Grant tied the knot in 2022.

“I learned a lot on just being a submissive wife,” she said. “It was a challenge for me at first and now it’s like my favorite thing. I love talking about submission, that’s a whole other podcast [episode].”

This isn’t the first time Madi has touted her role as a submissive wife. On a June 2024 episode of her podcast, she told listeners that it was her calling to “make [Grant], other than God, my greatest priority.” She also claimed that her past feminist beliefs were an example of her “rebelling against God’s original design.”

Me, listening to that straight-out-of-Duggarville podcast episode…

“When I submitted to my husband, I found the security I was craving,” Madi said, as reported by E! News. “It wasn’t in my nagging, it wasn’t in my controlling, it wasn’t in my feminist approach that I got security that I wanted, it was in the submission to God’s order and God’s design and the submission to my husband as the head of the home, as the leader of the home, that I got the security that I was craving … .”

“I think going against that, there is something in our nature as women … we want to rebel against that, we want to control, we don’t want to submit, we don’t want to respect,” she continued. “And we have to fight against that, because it is our call … .”

Madi insisted at the time that being submissive to her husband didn’t change the fact that she and Grant– who welcomed daughter Hosanna in January 2025– are still equal partners.

“My voice is not taken away,” she insisted. “We are in this marriage together, we are a team. We make decisions together, and I recognize him as the leader.”

While Madi admitted this week on her podcast that being a submissive wife was initially a challenge for her, she said it wasn’t the only issue she and Grant faced after becoming husband and wife.

“We ALSO had to find new ways to use my reality TV relevancy to make money…”

“ … our first six months of marriage was really, like, just hard in a lot of ways, very exposing of just, like, sin nature that I thought I had dealt with and then it just brought back up again,” Madi said, before going to to cite prayer as the thing that helped her and Grant get through the difficult time.

“ … praying together every night was very unifying and helped us fight just spiritual warfare,” she claimed.
