‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Noah Brown Asks Fans for Donations to Help Him “Keep His Rights As a Father” Amid Divorce

“Tis the season…to give your money to a former reality TV star.”

Noah Brown has launched an online fundraiser to help him “keep his rights as a father” amid his divorce from wife Rhain.

The former Alaskan Bush People star took to social media this week to share details about his GoFundMe, which he launched to raise funds to obtain a divorce lawyer in order to ultimately remain “a present and involved dad” to his two sons.

“I’m going through a divorce, and as a dad, it’s a tough road ahead,” Noah captioned his video. “My sons, Eli and Adam, are my world, and I’m doing everything I can to ensure they’re okay. This is a battle no one should ever have to face, but it’s here, and I’m facing it head-on.”

As The Ashley told you last month, Noah revealed to fans that Rhain had officially filed to end their marriage, and that Rhain’s new boyfriend had been the one to serve him with the divorce papers. The news of Rhain filing for divorce came 10 months after Noah and Rhain shared in a (truly bizarre) TikTok video that they had decided to split after six years of marriage and two children. They also revealed in their breakup announcement that Noah had moved out of the family home at Rhain’s request.

#NeverForget

This week, Noah told fans that while there have been “many challenges” throughout his divorce process, “none compare to the fear of losing my place in my sons’ lives.”

He then vowed to do “whatever it takes” to protect his rights as a father, including “humbling” himself by asking for help.

“Your support–through donations or simply sharing this page–will directly help me fight for fair treatment and preserve the most important part of my life: being a present and involved dad to both my boys, because nothing is more important to me than my sons Eli and Adam, not my pride, my dignity, or even my honor,” he wrote. “Thank you for helping me during a very difficult and crucial time.”

Last month, Noah revealed on social media that his first divorce hearing was set for December 11 and that, because of his current financial situation, he had yet to obtain an attorney. (He also claimed that he didn’t have access to the money he earned from his family’s reality TV series.)

“I’ve been basically getting by, I have my rent covered, my utilities, food, that sort of thing, but I don’t have access to the savings from the show and from selling my house in Colorado,” he said. “I don’t have access to that, so I can’t afford the extra [money] I need to be able to pay for a lawyer … .

“ … so I’ve been basically just doing this myself up until this point, but I have about two weeks in order to be able to get a lawyer or I’m gonna be going into the hearing alone,” he added.

Noah also said that there was a need for him to have legal representation at the hearing, as he and Rhain disagree on a number of things involving their children and he feels he should have an input when it comes to medical decisions for their kids, as well as where they attend school. In the same post, Noah discussed the idea of launching a GoFundMe, while noting that he had included links to his Venmo and similar payment apps in his Instagram bio for those wanting to make a financial contribution.

“In any other circumstance, I wouldn’t be doing this, but it’s for my kids and I will humble myself for them … ,” he said, later claiming that he had been picking up “odd jobs” to earn some extra money, but was still unable to afford an attorney.

As of Tuesday, Noah has raised more than $2,500 of his $4,000 fundraising goal.

  1. Does this man not have a job? Also, how does he “not have access to money from the sale of his house and the tv show.” I’m working two jobs myself right now to make ends meet.

  2. People can represent themselves if needed. It’s called Pro Se. Most states have a website that you can print your own Motions and Orders for the judge to see or sign. It might sound crazy, but I have worked for the courts for quite a few years and people do it all the time because they don’t have the $$ for an attorney. If he was smart ( since they can’t agree on certain things), he should take that money and help pay for mediation because 9 times out of 10, they will order them to do that so they can agree on things and that could get costly at times.

  3. I have no idea who this is but he looks sad. As the other commenter and I’m sure others people just don’t have extra funds like this to donate but I am sure he will reach his goal.

  4. We are all going through “a hard time” in one way or another. Personally I can’t afford to help a stranger hire a lawyer for his parenting rights. I remember filing for my divorce and filing for full custody of my kids. I had to work two jobs, sell things and work overtime to pay for my attorney. Maybe he should try that.🙄
