Myrka Cantu is officially a mom of four.
The 21-year-old former Unexpected star revealed in an Instagram video on Wednesday that she had given birth to her fourth child, a daughter, whose name she and her husband Juan Castillo have yet to reveal.
“So, I had the baby,” Myrka announced from her hospital bed. “It was such a smooth delivery and labor overall, and she’s literally so freaking perfect. We’re already in the recovery room, I already ate and everything. Like, it was quite literally perfect. The actual delivery was under a minute.”
As you may know, Myrka was at the hospital about 13 months ago welcoming son Alejandro Uriel, who was born in January 2025. Just months after Alejandro’s birth, Myrka revealed in a social media video that she and her husband were expecting again. (In the video, Juan initially believed that Myrka’s positive pregnancy test belonged to his sister-in-law, not his wife.)
The couple are also parents to daughter Axelia, who was born in early 2023, and, as fans of ‘Unexpected’ may recall, Myrka also shares daughter Attalie with her ex Ethan Ybarra. In post-partum updates posted to social media, Myrka insisted that Baby No. 4 will be her last child.
In her “baby update” post this week, Myrka compared the delivery of her fourth child to that of her third, which she called “traumatic.” She added that she’s “so glad” she had this delivery experience for her fourth and final baby, calling it “close to perfect.” Later on in her baby update video, Myrka– who was one-day postpartum at this point– marveled over the small size of her daughter’s diapers, claiming that she “forgot how tiny everything is” for newborns.
Myrka also told fans that while she arrived to the hospital the previous day rocking lashes, she woke up the day after giving birth without lashes and with a completely swollen face.
“ … my eyes were literally shut,” she told fans. “My lips were humongous– five times the size [they usually are].”
Fortunately, Myrka said she was on the mend and “feeling pretty good so far.” She also noted that she was looking forward to introducing her three older children to their new baby sister, whom she revealed is the only one of her four children to be born with a head full of hair.
“ … they’re going to be so excited,” she said, while holding her newborn. (Myrka made sure to cover her daughter’s face with an emoji in the video. As her fans know, Myrka keeps images and videos of her children off of social media, often opting to cover their faces with an emoji.)
In her final baby update, Myrka confirmed that she and her daughter had made it home from the hospital.
“I feel great,” she said. “I’m just really grateful for this experience, I love it. I love that this was my last one.”
