From getting slaughtered in the comment section to getting a degree, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
David Eason Gets Absolutely Ripped Online for Posting Photos with Daughter Ensley After Ignoring Her for Two Years
David and his ex wife Jenelle Evans are back together, and since David has been shacking up in Jenelle’s Vegas abode for the last few weeks, that means he’s also been spending time with his nine-year-old daughter Ensley. This week, Jenelle’s reinstated soulmate took to social media to post photos of him having “happy family picnic time” with Ensley. However, David’s attempt to look like a devoted dad fell short when nearly everyone in the comment section of his Facebook post blasted him for only being interested in Ensley now that he’s back to banging coparenting with Jenelle.
“My perfect princess,” David captioned a series of photos showing him and Ensley playing on some swings.
As The Ashley previously reported, David reunited with Ensley in January, marking the first time in two years he had seen his daughter. Not long after he and Jenelle split in February 2024, Jenelle moved to Las Vegas, while David stayed in North Carolina and took up residence in his then-girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole‘s home. Jenelle noted in court that, during this period, David never paid her child support, hadn’t taken the court-ordered psychological evaluation he needed in order to visit with Ensley, and rarely called her.
After Ensley was hospitalized in January, David flew to Vegas to see her, where he and Jenelle picked up their swamptastic romance, despite being officially divorced for over five months.
People were quick to call out David for “suddenly” wanting to spend time with Ensley.
“Crazy you wanted nothing to do with her for two years till you were back in her mom’s pants,” one person wrote.
“Yet, wouldn’t complete an evaluation to see her for mo[nths] and mo[nths],” someone else commented. “You and Janelle deserve each other and everything that comes with it.”
“Not you out here acting like you’re some top dog in fatherhood,” another person wrote.
“It’s wild how many people are just gonna sit here and act like this is such a wonderful thing,” someone else replied. “He went like over a year without even seeing his daughter or reaching out but now because the swamp monster needs a swamp to stay in again it’s ‘so cute to see how he’s hanging out with his daughter’ again…”
David and Jenelle have yet to officially confirm that they are once again soulmates; however, The Ashley’s sources have been telling her since January that they are giving their relationship yet another shot, despite the fact that there is currently an active restraining order forbidding David from being around Jenelle.
Ashley Jones Earns Her Bachelor’s Degree & Prepares to Start Graduate School
Nearly two months after revealing to fans her education goals for 2026, Ashley Jones has officially earned her bachelor’s degree.
The ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ star took to social media this week donning her graduation gown and proudly displaying the diploma she earned from Southern New Hampshire University. In the video, Ashley lip-synced to audio of rapper Nicki Minaj accepting an award before going on to bust a mini-celebratory dance from inside of her bathroom.
“First off, how are you actually supposed to wear this graduate hood?,” Ashley captioned her video. “Second off, Bachelor of Health Science baby! Third off, officially a Master of Science in Psychology candidate with a concentration in [Applied Behavior Analysis].”
Back in January, Ashley told fans she would be finishing up her bachelor’s degree within a couple of months and that she planned to begin her graduate program two months after that.
The previous month, Ashley– who took a semester off from nursing school in 2024 because she was “going through a lot” before ultimately transferring to another school– shared on TikTok that she had already starting shopping for grad school and was trying to “figure out a whole new style” in order to adhere to her program’s required dress code.
“No one told me certain programs and schools require business attire in class and clinical settings … ,” she wrote of her school shopping spree.
Ashley’s latest accomplishment comes less than a year after she was granted a divorce from husband Bar Smith, whom she split from in 2024.
In addition to severing ties with her legally challenged, four-browed husband in 2025, Ashley was awarded sole legal and physical custody of her and Bar’s daughter, Holly.
Farrah Abraham Makes Daughter Sophia’s 17th Birthday All About Herself
Farrah Abraham did what she does best this week by finding a way to make herself the main character of pretty much any situation she encounters. In this case, it was her daughter Sophia’s 17th birthday.
On Tuesday, the former ‘Teen Mom’ star and future political candidate took to social media to wish her “GLOBAL TRAVELER” spawn a happy 17th by swearing that she and her teenage daughter are so close that they’re often mistaken for siblings.
No, seriously…
“I love that everyone thinks we’re sisters and can’t believe that we’re not friends, #teenmom life,” the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram.
Farrah went on to express to Sophia how excited she is to ride camels with her in Egypt– where the two are celebrating Sophia’s big day– while making sure to shove her face in as many photos with the teen as possible in her birthday carousel post.
Later on in her Instagram Story, Farrah posted proof of her and Sophia’s camel-riding adventure. Naturally, Farrah threw up an arm in the snapshot, seemingly to avert the attention back to her favorite person: herself.
For those wondering, Sophia also posted some Egypt content in celebration of her 17th birthday. Though many of her posts were Farrah-free, she did give her mom an obligatory shoutout in one of her captions.
“ … so very grateful to be able to celebrate my birthday in Hurghada and Cairo with my amazing mother… best birthday ever,” she wrote.
As longtime fans of “16 and Pregnant” and ‘Teen Mom’ may know, Sophia is the third-oldest kid in the MTV franchise, with Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards’ son Bentley being the oldest, and Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley’s daughter Leah being the second-oldest.

Farrah looks like a 55 year old alien. No one thinks they are sisters.
Sophia doesn’t look happy in any of the pictures. Farrah is probably to busy getting payed to go on “dates” to notice, though.

I love Sophia but it’s weird her mom is always showing her body on social media. She’s 17.
I’m going to keep it a little bit positive, I think it’s pretty cool that Sophia got to go on a trip to Egypt with her mom for her birthday. It looks like they had a lot of fun. It’s also very hard to ignore Sophia’s creature of the night aesthetic and i can’t help but feel really sorry for whoever got stuck sitting next to Farrah on the plane!
