The drama between Louis Russell’s ex Nicole Olivera and current girlfriend, Huda Mustafa of Love Island USA, has gotten even messier, as the Too Hot to Handle star filed paperwork on Wednesday alleging that his baby mama is not currently allowing him to see their son.
According to Us Weekly, Louis is accusing Nicole of “unreasonably” cutting off contact between him and their young son, Luka. He also claimed that Nicole is using Luka “as a bargaining chip” and that she has threatened to move out of the state with their child.
Louis noted in the filing that he is “seriously concerned” that his ex will follow through with her alleged threat, at which point he fears he will “have a hard time finding our son and being a part of his life.”
According to Louis, Nicole made threats to move with Luka in the past and even did so when the former couple was living in the United Kingdom. As a result, Louis has filed for an emergency court order that would give him joint legal custody of Luka, as well as a concrete custody plan that would allow him to spend time with his son.
On Wednesday, Louis posted a photo of himself and Luka to his Instagram Story, telling fans, “all I’ve ever wanted is to be a good dad.”
“That’s who I am and that’s who I’ll always be,” he added.
Louis’s legal filing comes just days after his son’s mother was granted a temporary restraining order against Huda after the ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 star allegedly broke into Nicole’s house and threatened her and her young son.
In court documents, Nicole claimed that on February 20, Huda flew from her home in North Carolina to Los Angeles and “threatened to jump off buildings, swearing on her daughter’s life that she was going to kill herself.” (Huda is a mom to 5-year-old daughter Arleigh, whom she shares with her ex Noah Sherline.)
Nicole went on to allege that Huda made “terrifying and extremely unstable threats” towards herself and the two children for 12 hours. Nicole also claimed that in the early morning hours of February 21, Huda took an Uber to Nicole’s home– where Louis and Luka were– and “[threatened] to knock [Nicole’s] doors down” before breaking in, which was allegedly recorded on surveillance cameras. Police were called and responded to the scene.
Additionally, Nicole claimed that Huda had “harassed” her on social media.
A judge approved Nicole’s request for a temporary restraining order earlier this week, meaning that Huda is required to stay at least 100 yards away from Nicole, Luka, and their Los Angeles home. The order will remain in effect until their April 3 court hearing.
A source allegedly close to Huda told TMZ this week that the claims that the reality star threatened her own daughter were “entirely false,” adding that Nicole has “used [Luka] as leverage to manipulate Louis.” The source went on to insist that Nicole is the one who has made hateful statements about Huda and Huda’s child, adding that Huda has never “spoken negatively about anyone’s kid.”
Meanwhile, Huda has also denied Nicole’s accusations, telling fans Tuesday on social media that she was “aware of what’s being said and it’s not true.”
“I’m handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it,” she continued. “I appreciate everyone who continues to support me.”
As The Ashley told you earlier this week, one of the people continuing to support Huda is Louis, who publicly declared Huda his “queen” amid the recent girlfriend/baby mama drama. (Louis also posted a photo of Luka at the time, writing, “This first.”)
