Lindsie Chrisley’s on/off boyfriend David Landsman is currently behind bars after being arrested Friday morning for aggravated assault and battery– just hours after he posted a photo of himself and the former Chrisley Knows Best star to social media.
According to VineLink, David was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Canton, Georgia, April 10 at 4:29 a.m. At this time, the 52-year-old remains in custody and is being held without bond. According to TMZ, he’s being charged with one count of aggravated assault via strangulation.
As you may remember, Lindsie raised eyebrows last summer when she changed her last name on social media from “Chrisley” to David’s last name, “Landsman,” despite her and David not being married or engaged. Before claiming on her podcast The Southern Tea that she dropped “Chrisley” because it was “problematic for business,” Lindsie posted a series of photos to social media that suggested she and David may have eloped during a trip to Florida.
(Lindsie has changed her last name more than once since then and is currently using her ex-husband Will Campbell’s surname. Will is also the father of Lindsie’s only child, Jackson.)
While Lindsie and David didn’t tie the knot last summer, the two did go on to make up and break up in the coming months, with the couple more recently calling it quits after David allegedly cheated on Lindsie on Valentine’s Day, which Lindsie found out about after someone messaged her online about the infidelity.
Despite the public split, Lindsie (and David) was soon back to dropping hints on her podcasts and on social media that she and David had reunited, however neither had confirmed the status of their relationship.
Interestingly, just hours before David was arrested Friday for battery and aggravated assault, he and Lindsie partook in some vagueposting on Instagram, with the two posing for a photo in which Lindsie was kissing David’s cheek. Adding to the confusion, David captioned the post, “🫶🏽 🦦 🦦 💔” and tagged the location in Baltimore, Maryland.
People soon took to the comments demanding some context to the post, with one person asking, “What does it meaaaaaan,” to which David replied, “we just ran into each other 🤷🏻♂️.”
“Stressing us all out,” another commented, with David responding, “me too 🤦🏻♂️.”
When someone else in the comments encouraged David and Lindsie to do what makes them happy, David agreed, noting that more people need to have that mindset. However, David still insisted that “no one really knows anything.”
In replies to another comment on David’s post, both he and Lindsie avoided answering whether or not they were back– or still– together.
“No one knows including me,” Lindsie said of the current state of her relationship, with David adding, “I don’t know either 🤷🏻♂️.”
While Lindsie confirmed to one person that she and David “did break up,” she fired back at someone else for making an assumption about the status of her and David’s relationship, before hinting that there were more details to come.
“… do you know the inner workings of my household?” Lindsie wrote. “No offense, but stay tuned. Love you 😘.”
At this time, Lindsie has not commented on David’s arrest, nor has David himself, as he currently remains behind bars.

Wait. He called the police on himself? And said what? Come and arrest me I just strangled my girlfriend? So he has the capacity to call 911 and confess but lacks the self control to not strangle his girlfriend? Asshole needs to be in jail.
Keep in mind, a lot of this is her side of the story, this B lies a lot. I for one, can’t stand her.
