The mugshot of Lindsie Chrisley‘s boyfriend, David Landsman, was released on Monday, showing the on-and-off-love of the Chrisley Knows Best star with a bloodied face and now, The Ashley can exclusively reveal why David was bloody in his muggy after his arrest for aggravated assault (via strangulation) and battery on April 10
In audio of the 911 call made by David on April 10, the 52-year-old claims that he needs cops come to his house, allegeding that Lindsie broke into his home and attacked him in his sleep.
“My girlfriend just broke into my house,” David claims in the audio. “I was asleep and she started beating my f**king ass!”
He adds that Lindsie had just gotten into her car and was pulling out of his driveway when he made the call around 1 a.m.
David says he doesn’t need an ambulance but that he is bloody, due to Lindsie allegedly punching him in the face.
“She was beating my face,” David says. “I mean, there’s blood but I’m OK.”
David confirms that his girlfriend in question is Lindsie Chrisley, adding that “I think she has a police record. She’s probably on-file with you guys.”
David declined to clean his face wound, telling the 911 operator he’s “sure the officers are gonna want to see it.” He also denied that Lindsie was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Despite David reporting just minutes earlier that Lindsie was allegedly “beating” his face, he tells the 911 operators that his girlfriend “is the sweetest thing” and that she’s never done anything this before to him.
According to the CAD Detail Report Notes— which were also obtained exclusively by The Ashley— cops went to Lindsie’s house but the officer was told “not to arrest her.”
“[We] need to talk to her as well and see what happened,” the notes read.
It is also noted that officers found bruises on Lindsie, and stated that she was being “belligerent” on the phone.
Eventually, David was arrested and booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Canton, Georgia, around 4:30 a.m. on April 10. He bonded out the next day. Lindsie was not arrested.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit obtained by People, David is accused of committing aggravated assault by “assaulting with an object, device, or instrument which, when used offensively against a person, is likely to or actually does result in strangulation.”
Lindsie has not spoken out directly since David’s arrest. She, did, however, make a cryptic post to Instagram Stories on Saturday.
“I don’t recognize myself anymore,” the post reads. “Not in my laughter, not in my silence. Somewhere between surviving and pretending, I became a stranger to my own soul.”
