Hunter Johnson‘s dad wants to make sure the 14-year-old is the father of Bella Vaughn‘s one-year-old son Wesley.
The Ashley can reveal that, on Tuesday, an Arkansas judge issued an order for paternity testing to be done on Hunter, Bella and their son Wes. The order comes at the request of Hunter’s dad, Casey Johnson, who currently has temporary emergency custody of the teen. Casey is also fighting Bella’s mom Falen for full custody of baby Wesley.
The court order demands that the teen parents and baby Wesley all provide a sample to undergo blood grouping tests. (It’s interesting that the court ordered blood grouping tests rather than a DNA test. According to Britannica, “blood group studies cannot be used to prove paternity, [but] can provide unequivocal evidence that a male is not the father of a particular child.”)
Hunter, Bella and Wes have seven days from Tuesday to submit to the tests, and Casey has offered to foot the bill (and least for now) for the testing to be done.
As ‘Unexpected’ fans are aware, Hunter was only 12 years old when Wes was conceived, while Bella was 14. While the couple has never appeared to have any question that Hunter is the father of Wes, it seems that Casey does have some doubts.

In his original filing for custody of Wes last month, Casey named Hunter as Wesley’s biological father but noted that paternity has not been “legally established.”
This is not the only legal action that Casey has taken this week in his bid for custody of Wes. On Monday, he filed to ask the court to appoint an attorney ad litem for Wesley. (An attorney ad litem is a lawyer who is appointed by the court to specifically represent the best interest of the child in the case, not the parents.)
Casey asked for a specific attorney, and stated that all parties should be responsible for covering the costs of the attorney ad litem equally. The judge has not yet ruled on that particular motion.
As The Ashley previously reported, Bella announced on Tuesday that she and 14-year-old Hunter are now officially engaged.

Alfie thought he’d got his 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman pregnant when he was just 12 after they had sex at a sleepover in Lower Dicker, East Sussex.
This earned him the title of “Britain’s youngest dad.”
However, a DNA test six weeks after baby Maisie’s birth proved that he wasn’t actually the father
Yes, guardian ad litem! Casey seems to be making all the responsible moves. Hope ever thing works out as well as it can. What a hot mess. Falen is font of chaotic mess, and way to interested in minot childrens sex lives.
I seriously doubt an engagement between those 2 minors is going to sway any judge.it will probably do just the exact opposite and make him angry that they are trying to manipulate his decision on visitations with the baby. Is there a single brain between all the people in Falen’s house? All those kids are doing is playing a child’s game of “house” with a real baby involved. Kids don’t get engaged or married at 13 and 15. Ridiculous…..
Falen never wanted to do the test too! It’d be a major plot twist, the shock of the week, if it comes back Hunter is not Wes’ father.
Ive heard they have been fighting a dna test which made my suspicions skyrocket. Might just be some poor uneducated conspiracy theory and on dna, not getting there are different privacy rights for medical dna under HIPAA vs ancestry etc.
I feel badly for the three children involved here. Doesn’t seem like Bella and Hunter are bad parents – just immature (not surprising at their age). Just because their own parents are trashy doesn’t mean they should lose custody of their baby.
I’m curious how custody works when a minor is a parent. Could Casey get custody of their baby just because he has custody of Hunter? Seems quite unfair for Bella as the mother.
Also, Casey is just flat out trashy for forcing a paternity test when neither parent doubted Hunter was the father. Way to fan the flames. I’m sure this will only worsen his relationship with Hunter.
Paternity has to be legally established for custody/visitation with Wes (the baby). Not trashy, legally this is how it has to be done to protect HUNTER and WES. Allegedly they’re refusing to allow Hunter to see Wes unless it’s at Bella’s, and the court has already ruled no visits unless supervised by Casey which they don’t want to do. It’s best for Hunter AND Wes that their relationship be independent of Falen’s control, then they can’t withhold him or force parenting time only under their criteria.
In Arkansas, Hunter can’t legally file for anything on his own due to his minor status, so the paperwork is filed as Casey Johnson, but has an annotation that lets the court know that he’s seeking ON BEHALF of Hunter while he is unable to do so. Again, this all needs to be legally established to ensure Hunter maintains a parenting relationship independent of what Falen says. Seeing as how Casey never had official/legal custody of Hunter until recently, I’m sure he’s trying to prevent that particular heartache for his son & grandson if he can.
I seriously doubt the court will remove Wes from Bella. She will likely have to share custody until they BOTH have turned 18, and if the relationship is still going, they can modify the parenting arrangements. The courts will be able to hopefully control Falen & Stacie a bit better, which is beneficial to all 3 kids.
Sure not an easy situation for anyone to be in, but much better to get this done now than 14 yrs down the road when shit hits the fan.
No notes. Perfectly said.
Thank you for the information. I kind of figured this was just a legal formality & not an actual question of whether Hunter is the father.
Two minors being engaged is the dumbest part of all of this.
I mean….. can most 12 year old boys even get someone pregnant??
The average age for the onset of male fertility is around 13. 12 would be younger than average but well within the normal range.
I think Hunter’s dad is really smart and I applaud all he’s doing
I bet Falen set up the engagement thinking it could change the custody ruling
If she did it really shows how dumb she is because I think this will only help his case further
She is so incredibly stupid, and unable to admit she has lost control of the situation. She has those kids believing she can control what happens, and they are all about to learn imo.
