Isabella Leal-Stone and Bryce Palmer announced the sad news that Isabella suffered a miscarriage of their second child.

On Thursday, the “Unexpected” stars shared a joint Facebook post of a sign reading “You’ll always be my favorite what if” next to sonogram photos, baby shoes, and a stuffed bunny.

“I’m not ready to make this post [and] I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to,” Isabella wrote in the caption. “My heart is broken for Bryce, Haisley, myself & the rest of our family & friends that were so excited for you, baby bean.”

“We had already started imagining our life with you, wondering who you would look like, watching Haisley become a big sister, and counting down the days until we could finally hold you in our arms. We had so many dreams for you, baby bean, and it breaks my heart that we won’t get to experience them the way we imagined.”

Isabella told her baby that they were “wanted, prayed for, and loved more than words could ever explain” and assured them that they will always be included in the family as “Haisley’s little sibling.”

“I wish more than anything that I could have protected you and brought you home with us, but I know this was never something I could control.”

“I don’t know how to navigate this kind of pain, and I know healing won’t happen overnight,” she concluded. “Some days will be harder than others, and there will always be a part of me that wonders who you would have been. Your due date, April 25th, will forever be a day that means something different to our family. Until we meet again, our sweet baby bean.”

On her TikTok, Isabella posted the same graphic from Facebook with two additional slides: one of her sonogram and one of her medical discharge papers. Her medical documents show that she was seen on October 8 for a “inevitable” abortion after visiting the ER for “vaginal bleeding early in pregnancy.”

“Ultrasound did not show fetal heartbeat,” Isabella’s doctor wrote in her documents. “My impression is that there is a high likelihood that this pregnancy is going to result in a miscarriage.”

One follower commented on her post, “I’m so sorry Bell, God will send another baby when you’re ready.”

Isabella replied, “I was ready,” with a broken heart emoji.

Isabella and Bryce became the first Season 7 couple to announce a second pregnancy after they confirmed their pregnancy back in August. Isabella’s sister Ileyona Howard shared a Facebook post of Isabella and Bryce’s daughter Haisley holding a sign reading, “A little honeybee is on the way.”

Ileyona had shared in the pregnancy announcement that “there [were] some complications” with the pregnancy and the family had asked for prayers for their “little baby [to hold] on and continue to grow healthy & strong.”

“I love y’all so much & I’m always here for you no matter what,” Ileyona commented on Isabella’s post. 

The couple appeared on Season 7 of “Unexpected” when Isabella was pregnant with Haisley, who is now a year old. After filming for their season, the pair announced their engagement in February.
