Kail Lowry says she’s made it clear to her boyfriend Ike Knighton that they will be making it down the aisle, sooner rather than later– or she’s out!

The former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star recently told E! News that she’s set a strict two-year time limit for Ike to propose or she’s moving on without him. Although Kail once swore off ever getting married again (following her divorce from Javi Marroquin), she did accept (Baby Daddy No. 4) Elijah Scott‘s proposal back in 2024 but the couple never got hitched.

With her current relationship, though, Kail said things are different.

“I want to have a husband,” she explained. “I want my kids to have a stepfather. I want to build with someone and actually have this life together.” 

For years, fans have been following the drama surrounding Kail’s cornucopia of baby daddiii, and she told E! that she hopes Ike will help her (and said baby daddiii) all find “peace” in the near future.

“[He] inspires me to be a better person and handle things better, and so I really love that about him,” she said.

According to Kail, though, she wants to be a “better person”…with a ring on her left hand.

“I let him know pretty early on that I’m not interested in, you know, five-plus years and no movement on our relationship,” she said. “I think it was like, ‘This is my timeline. I would like to invest two years. And if it’s not gonna go anywhere beyond this two years and we’re still dating, it’s fine. Not everyone is on my timeline. But this is what I want.” 

When asked if she would be willing to dump Ike if he doesn’t propose within the timeframe she’s given him, Kail said she would.

“And he knows that,” she said, adding that she would be willing to listen to Ike (somewhat) if he were to come to her and ask for more time.

“If he came to me and was like, ‘Hey, I hear you, but this is not something I’m ready for,’ I would hear him out,” she explained. “And then I would see how I feel about it and I would leave if ultimately that’s the conclusion that we came to. I just don’t know that that’s what’s going to happen.” 

(For those who have had a hard time keeping track of who Kail is dating and for how long, she and Ike are apparently approaching their two-year anniversary in the spring of 2027.)

Kail stated that Ike has been integrated into every part of her life— both in her work (he appears on her show ‘Crashing Out With Kail’), and with her seven kids.

“I would question why he’s doing all of the other husband-type things [if he wasn’t ready to get married],” she said. “I would seriously be like, ‘Are you OK?'” 

Kail insisted that Ike is “the one” for her.

“I feel like it’s cliché to say but when you meet someone, you pretty much know very quickly if this is somebody that you want to spend the rest of your life with or not,” she said. “…You would think that seven kids is so chaotic that how could anyone take this on? But he fits right in.” 

Coincidentally, Kail made nearly identical statements about her ex-fiancé, Elijah. Back in 2024, she called Elijah her “person” and stated, “I don’t know how Elijah just seamlessly folded into this chaos and he handles it so well…”

At the time, though, she admitted to being reluctant to marry Elijah, despite the fact that he had proposed to her “so many times.” Kail and Elijah split in 2025 after a girl on TikTok exposed that she had slept with Elijah while he was on a cruise without Kail.

Back in April, Elijah was open during an interview on Kail’s podcast regarding how he feels about Ike, telling Kail that he felt she was trying to replace him when she moved Ike very quickly into her house after breaking up with Elijah.

“But he can’t f**king compete with me at all. And that’s my opinion,” Elijah told Kail at the time.

Elijah isn’t the only one of Kail’s baby daddies who has been less-than-thrilled with how fast (and how much) Ike was inserted into their kids’ lives. Last year, Javi Marroquin and Chris Lopez were very vocal about how unhappy they were that Kail chose to quickly move Ike into her home with their kids only a few weeks into their relationship.

Despite the baby daddiii not being happy about Kail’s relationship with Ike, Kail says her kids are thrilled.

“My kids love him,” she told E! News. “So, he really just fit seamlessly… One of my sons, Creed, they call each other ‘twin’ and it’s just the cutest thing.”
