MTV’s ‘Celebrity Fear Factor’ to Feature Casts of ‘The Challenge,’ ‘Jersey Shore’ & More: Watch the First Trailer (And See Snooki Eat a Scorpion!)

The ‘Jersey Shore’ girls…picturing a life without lip fillers..

What’s better than Fear Factor? Celebrity Fear Factor!

Hosted by Ludacris, this special series will feature reality TV stars from hit shows like Jersey Shore, The Challenge, Survivor and more!

This season of ‘Celebrity Fear Factor’ will consist of ten episodes, filled with reality stars, actors and musicians who are ready to do creepy, scary and downright disgusting things to extend their 15 minutes of fame.

According to a press release recently sent out by MTV, the episodes will be “filled with new stunts inspired by urban legends, popular scary movies and viral videos from today’s cultural zeitgeist.”

The contestants will also be “pushed beyond their comfort zones to take action against some of their biggest stressors.”

Each week will bring a new themed episode that will combine similar reality TV stars and/or musicians to compete against each other and do creepy things.

“Of course you’re not afraid, Ronnie. Your whole life is a ‘Fear Factor’ episode, bro!”

The “Shoredown” (See what they did there?) episode will feature cast members from both ‘Jersey Shore’ and Floribama Shore. From ‘Jersey,’ we will see Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly D, Deena Cortese and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. The ‘Floribama’ cast will include Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Jeremiah Buoni and Nilsa Prowant

The “MTV Star Battle” episode will feature ‘The Challenge’ stars Cara Maria Sorbello, C.T. Tamburello, Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley, as well as Are You The One? host Terrence J, and Ex On The Beach host Romeo Miller.

The “Hip Hop Battle” episode will feature rapper (and former Kylie Jenner boo) Tyga, as well as rapper Chanel West Coast of Ridiculousness fame. Other rappers competing will be Kodie Shane and Lil’ Yachty.

The “Reality TV Royal Rumble” episode throws together favorites from the CBS shows, including Big Brother and Survivor. The cast of this episode will be Abi-Maria Gomes, Caleb Reynolds and Sierra Dawn Thomas of ‘Survivor’; as well as married ‘Big Brother’ alum Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly. ‘Big Brother 16’ stars Cody Calafiore and Zach Rance will also appear.

The “For The Love Of Fear” episode will feature folks from The Bachelor franchise. They managed to snag former ‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay, former “winner” Vanessa Grimaldi and former troublemaker Corinne Olympios. Also competing will be the ‘Bachelor’ franchise’s resident “shark/dolphin’ girl Alexis Waters, and Danielle Maltby.

Other episode themes include “Hip Hop Siblings,’ ‘Thrill Seeker Throwdown,’ ‘Breaking the Internet’ (featuring famous YouTubers), ‘Battle of the Bands’ (featuring Misterwives), and ‘Music Star ShowDown.’

Host Ludacris recently tweeted that the celeb contestants will see their “worst fears come true.”

In the trailer, we can see this happening. For instance, Pauly D gets crabs.

Luckily for Pauly (and all the girls he banged in the Smush Room over the years), the crabs are not the kind that invade your nether region and require antibiotics. Instead, they are giant crabs that Pauly and other ‘Shore’ cast members must pick up with their mouths. (To be fair, a live crab is probably the least-disgusting thing the ‘Shore’ kids have had in their mouths over the years…)

We will also get to see Snooki suck on a scorpion (as you do); watch various cast members swim with snakes, have their heads buried in sand and, of course, eat plenty of disgusting stuff.

The new ‘Celebrity Fear Factor’ episodes premiere Tuesday, July 17 on MTV.
