Former ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Star Amanda Stanton Arrested For Domestic Battery: See Her Hot Mugshot

“I won’t have to wear one of those jail jumpsuits, will I? Orange isn’t really my color!”

There’s no doubt about it: Amanda Stanton sure knows how to take a good picture– even when it’s a mugshot!

Amanda, who, since starring on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise makes her cash taking photos of herself hawking random products on Instagram, delivered a Grade A mugshot on Monday after she was arrested for domestic battery against her current boyfriend Bobby Jacobs!

TMZ broke the news of Amanda’s arrest, stating that she was picked up by Las Vegas cops after she allegedly shoved Bobby in front of security for The Encore hotel. The site claims that Amanda and Bobby were in Vegas with friends celebrating at a co-ed bachelorette party (of course!) when the alleged incident went down.

“Law enforcement tells us security came to the room for a noise complaint, and Bobby was talking to the guard,” TMZ reported. “We’re told that’s when an apparently boozed-up Amanda tried to intervene, and shoved Bobby in the process. We’re told the shove was hard enough for security to call cops, who arrested Amanda for misdemeanor domestic violence.”

The Ashley confirmed via Clark County, Nevada, online arrest records that Amanda was, indeed, thrown in the slammer on Monday on a first-degree domestic battery charge. She was released after she paid her $3,000 bond.

Amanda– who ended up in the Final Four during Ben Higgins‘ season of ‘The Bachelor,’ and got engaged to Josh Murray during the 2016 season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’– made sure to let her 1.2 million Instagram followers know that she and Bobby are still together following the alleged incident.

On Tuesday, she posted a photo to Instagram Live, showing her and Bobby snuggling on a flight. TMZ reports that, according to someone close to Amanda and Bobby, the couple believes that someone may have “slipped something” into Amanda’s drink during the party.

According to online court records, Amanda is due to appear in a Vegas Domestic Violence Courtroom on October 10.

As The Ashley previously stated, Amanda is a major Instagram influencer who has deals with all kinds of brands, including Thredup, Hyundai, and Revolve Clothing. It’s unknown if any of her Instagram sponsorship deals will be affected by her arrest.

UPDATE! On Wednesday, Amanda’s rep Steve Honing has released a statement to E! News in regard to Amanda’s arrest.

“Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department. Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance,” the statement read. “That evening she had a few drinks at a bachelorette party and when hotel security asked her and Bobby to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious.

“Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job. [It] was not an ill-intended shove, [but] the police still had to do their job which Amanda completely respects and understands.”

  1. Since Amanda has had so many “Bachelor” relationships and friendships, I think this may be a weird, rare things for her. I say this because no one in the franchise would hesitate to throw her under the bus if she were truly a violent person in relationships. Josh, Robby….etc.

Perhaps she drank a liquor she didn’t normally drink? The drink slip may also have happened, who knows. I just know people can act and put on a front during reality shows, but I actually believe Amanda.
