Despite being allegedly “bombarded everyday” by fans asking if she will ever return to the Teen Mom franchise, Farrah Abraham has revealed that the show is “not my journey anymore,” because it (allegedly) can’t afford her.
The former ‘Teen Mom’ star told TMZ this week that while she doesn’t mind being asked about returning to the franchise, but insists it’s her choice not to return to the MTV franchise that made her famous.

“I love the question but I don’t understand why fans keep asking me would I come back,” Farrah told the outlet. “I think I’ve been so boldly honest, more honest than probably any other woman on the franchise with fans, because I get bombarded everyday … .”
According to Farrah, who was fired from Teen Mom OG in October 2017, fans aren’t getting to see whatever face she’s currently sporting on their TVs anymore because MTV/Paramount can’t afford the salary she is requesting in order to come back.
“ … I am not making light of, you know, less budgets or I’m not, you know, putting a spotlight on lack of budgets, but I’m just being authentically honest when I say, for ‘Teen Mom,’ it is not for me to be a part of,” she said. “I have to respect my time, I have to look out for my child … .”
While Farrah insisted that her teenage daughter Sophia’s wellbeing plays a part in her decision, she claimed in an interview with Access Hollywood in February that she was still open to the idea of returning to the ‘Teen Mom’ world and that she had even tried to get the network to film a special for Sophia’s 16th birthday.

“I even did a pitch for Sophia’s sweet sixteen to [‘Teen Mom’] but the budgets weren’t right,” she said. “If I do come back, if we get the budgets in the future … I would love to … .”
As The Ashley told you earlier this month, Farrah got fired up after she and other original ‘Teen Mom’ cast members were left out of a photoshoot and interview with People in celebration of the franchise’s 16th anniversary.
“The production used to say, ‘Teen Mom family,’ but that was just narcissism to underpay teens and children, as most of the parents shown in this picture have financial issues,” Farrah told OK! Magazine. “The picture represents how sad the franchise is today.”
Farrah went on to mention the anniversary snub again this week.
“Like, reporters are just like, dying for me to comment on a reunion picture that’s missing all of the cast … ,” she said, insisting that the reunion diss may have been “done purposely” in order to get a response from her, which would in turn, “get a little bit of attention for the franchise.”
“ … again, the network is not in a position to have actual budgets,” she added, suggesting that a serving of one of her infamous Farrah Speak word-salads is in some way benefitting the franchise financially.

Despite being in her feelings over the recent reunion photo, Farrah insisted this week that she “doesn’t need the pressure” from fans to rejoin the franchise, as being on ‘Teen Mom’ is “not my journey anymore.”
In fact, the self-proclaimed legal expert even revealed that she’s in the process of pitching her own “‘Teen Mom’ stuff” to other networks– networks that actually have the budget to fund said projects.
“ … I think that’s more important than just being focused on a show that’s in a lull and has no funding … ,” she said.
While Farrah won’t be making her ‘Teen Mom’ come back anytime soon (or seemingly ever), she stated this week that she is interested in hiring former ‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans and current Teen Mom: The Next Chapter cast member Ashley Jones for one of her ‘Teen Mom’-adjacent projects. (As The Ashley previously told you, the trio were photographed at a fundraising event last week in Las Vegas. After the event– which was also attended by ‘Teen Mom’ producer Larry Musnik– Farrah, Jenelle and Ashley went out to dinner together.)

“ … there are so many fun new things and I would love to, you know, hire Jenelle, I’d love to hire Ashley,” she said. “I’d love to hire so many other teen moms and if there’s, like, a ‘Teen Mom’ look back and the influence on like, our audience and our kids and the moms, like those are shows that I’m pitching and it’s actively out right now, so fingers crossed, y’all … .”
In addition to the “‘Teen Mom’ stuff” she’s allegedly pitching to other networks, Farrah claims she’s currently working on a film adaptation of one of her books and has a true crime docuseries being optioned at “Lion Gate.” (We assume she’s referring to the production company, “Lionsgate.”)

The fact that Farrah thinks she could pitch, produce, and co-star in any “Teen Mom”-related media is ridiculous. MTV owns the rights to everything associated with the franchise and no production company in town would take that. Imagine if some has-been former Survivor contestant wanted to make a Netflix docuseries on “Life after Survivor”–HAHAHA. Per law, you should know better, Farrah!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 These 3 are an absolute JOKE. 🤡🤡🤡
Being a hooker is no power position, Farrah.
I was just going to ask what happened to the movie she was making years ago and her ” Froyo”
being available in a brick and mortar grocery store? Does Farrah have the budget to hire Jenelle & Ashley to do BackDoor Team Mom #2 ?
These teen mom wash ups are so delusional thinking they hold any power or influence. Or that they’re in any position to hire anyone for other tv projects.. lol
Prostitution isn’t a “project”, Farrah.
The delusion and narcissism in reality personalities should really be studied… if people are the least bit interested it’s purely because they’re waiting to see the next train wreck.
I don’t these girls realize the only reason people watch them is because you can’t help watching train wrecks, it’s not because people like them
I literally just commented the same thing… wtf is wrong with them?
Sitting there thinking if only Janelle could step out into different circles, hang with different kinds of people…
Maybe we wouldn’t have this Janelle groundhog day over and over…
*enter Farrah*
… I should have been more specific.
This is not an improvement. This isn’t less bizarre drugged out party delusional…
Let alone Farrah saying she’s essentially shopping “teen mom” with various fired teen mom cast members, to networks other than MTV… sure, girl. You do that.
Is she expecting everyone to forget that she failed to pay rent on not one, but two separate businesses, to the tune of over $700,000 and had to be taken to court, multiple times, over her failure to pay other various bills on top of those ones? She’s failed to pay a LOT of her bills over the years!
She’s in no position to judge the financial state of anyone, much less MTV who literally made it possible for her to fail fabulously at nearly every business/money making venture she’s ever actually tried. Hell even her adult side business wouldn’t have existed without MTV money getting and keeping her there. There’s a reason (probably lots of them) why her “pitches” aren’t getting caught, lmao. You can tell she’s not doing nearly as well financially as she pretends to by how frequently she wanders out of the weeds to start selling stories again. She’s quite often in way over her head, like, way, way over, and a lot of other people have funded her extravagance with an expectation of some sort of return (that she promises but never produces). She’s not the big thing she claims she is, lol.
She can’t even afford to pay attention, how the hell is she going to pay people to work on non-existent projects, lol.
But people are beating her door down to give her screen time 🤣
Her backdoor!!!
I guess her comedy career isn’t taking off as expected?
😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
Exactly. It’s funny that she thinks associating with Jenelle is a flex…
She has also gotten evicted a few times.
