‘Teen Mom’ Star Cheyenne Floyd Is Pregnant with Her Third Child Following Fertility Struggle with Husband Zach Davis

“There’s another mini-influencer on the way!”

Cheyenne Floyd and her husband Zach Davis ended this season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter with big news: the couple found out on Thursday’s season finale that they’re expecting.

Cheyenne— who is already mom to eight-year-old Ryder (whose dad is Cory Wharton), and three-year-old Ace (with Zach)— opened up on the show throughout its latest season about her struggle to get pregnant for the third time. Less than a week before Cheyenne was due to start fertility treatment, she discovered that she was pregnant.

“And when we had nothing left to give, we surrendered it all to God,” Cheyenne wrote in the caption of a family video she posted Thursday on Instagram to announce the pregnancy. “We told Him we couldn’t carry it anymore — and He answered. Not in our timing, but in His. This little life is proof that even in the waiting, even in the heartbreak, miracles are still being written.”

In an interview with Us Weekly, Zach stated that getting to this pregnancy was “quite the journey” for him and Cheyenne.

“We definitely kind of teetered back and forth on wanting a baby,” he told the magazine. “I wanted one, and then she went through the phase of wanting one, and I wasn’t on the same page as her, but then we kind of came to the same chapter, and we tried to make it work.”

“It’s God’s timing,” Zach continued. “God gave us a child right before we’re going to start. And I’m hella happy. I’m excited. I just want 10 fingers, 10 toes, and I’m happy.”

“Not so much on the ‘job thing’ though….”

Cheyenne’s position on having another baby has certainly changed over the last few years. Back in 2023, she declared that she was done having babies.

“I’m gonna put it out right now, if we were to have another baby, it was not planned,” Cheyenne said in a YouTube video posted to her channel in January 2023. “Don’t let me lie to y’all and say that it was planned because if we were to get pregnant again, it was not in the plans. All right? It would be a complete ‘oh my God, what the f**k’ situation, I’m just saying.”

“I would drop and turn in my grave, oh my God,” Zach added.

Now that she is pregnant, Cheyenne told Us Weekly that she’s “constantly nauseous” but happy that she doesn’t have to hide her baby bump anymore.

“On Snapchat is the hardest because I share so much on Snap,” Cheyenne said. “People on Snap are like, ‘Why do you have a blanket on and it’s hot outside?’ or ‘Why do you have on a hoodie and it’s hot?’ I’m very happy that we’re sharing. … It’s like, I can’t hide it anymore.”

Cheyenne and Zach did not reveal when Cheyenne is due, or if they know if they’re having a boy or a girl.

“Sis, I’d like to remind you that my name, R, works for either a boy or a girl. Just sayin’…”

On Friday, Zach posted about the pregnancy to his Instagram.

“My entire soul is filled with pure happiness!” he wrote in the caption of some family photos. “With each child, I’ve grown, not just as a father, but as a man. We are now welcoming our trilogy and my heart is full! We are choosing to wait this time to learn if you are a boy or a girl at birth, because in truth, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are healthy and whole!”

Cheyenne also took to Instagram on Friday to thank fans for their kind words and share a message to those struggling with infertility.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love and kind words you’ve shared with us after announcing our pregnancy,” she wrote. “Your support means the world to us, and we feel incredibly blessed and honored to be on this journey. At the same time, our hearts are with those who are still waiting and hoping. We see you, we honor your journey, and we hold space for your pain. If you’re walking through the heartache of infertility, please know you are not alone. You are deeply loved, and your story matters. Thank you again for celebrating this moment with us — your joy lifts us even higher.”

The couple received plenty of congratulatory messages from their ‘Teen Mom’ castmates.

“I am so happy for you and your family! Congratulations!” Kristina Shirley wrote in the comment section of the announcement post.

“God is Good, so happy for you guys because I know how bad you wanted it,” Cory wrote.

“So happy for you guys!” wrote Mackenzie McKee. (Speaking of Mackenzie, she is currently pregnant with twins. On Thursday’s episode she and her fiancé Khessy Hall officially announced that they’re having two girls.)

  1. Great news for the couple. I hope Zack has finally found a job or career. I suspect he has never held an honest job in his life.

  2. From experience the harder you try the harder it is to get pregnant. It’s not fun, it’s like a job, leads to depression because you feel like somethings wrong with you. I actually did 2 rounds of fertility meds and said it’s time to stop. After not worrying every month my body was able to hold a pregnancy.

  3. So now he can get a job. Time to cancel this show just so these nit wits and broke daddy’s stop having kids for cash.

  4. Yes. You are so important that your “god” worried more about you getting a third child. Fuck starving and abused kids. Also kids dying of cancer. “God” has too many other things to worry about.
