Kody Brown (and his signature poodle perm) will be one of the 18 reality TV stars, athletes and social media influencers pushed to their limits on the upcoming season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test!
FOX officially announced the Season 4 cast list on Wednesday, revealing that, competing alongside the Sister Wives villain will be The Valley star Brittany Cartwright, Real Housewives mother/daughter duo Teresa and Gia Giudice and more.
The first cast photos were also released on Wednesday, showing the contestants in their miliary-inspired frocks. As fans know, ‘Special Forces’ places famous people in challenges meant to replicate part of the selection course for the real United States Special Forces. The contestants must endure grueling mental and physical tests in military-inspired environments. Contestants are not eliminated or voted out, but can withdraw themselves at any point during the show. (Many contestants are also medically withdrawn from the show, or can be disqualified for not following the rules or not completing tasks.)
After his participation was announced, Kody— who has never appeared on a reality show other than ‘Sister Wives’—made a rare post to his long-abandoned Instagram account, admitting that the show was “exciting” but had him blubbering like a baby.
“This was the most exciting experience of an age!” he wrote in a post featuring the cast announcement. “Tune in and watch me and my peers suffer? Wanna see me cry? No…like full on sobbing!”

Very few contestants make it all the way through the test, as most voluntarily withdraw or are medically withdrawn before the end. During Season 3, only two contestants of 16— Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole— passed the test. In Season 2, only three of the 14 passed (Nick Viall, Tyler Cameron and Erin Jackson). During Season 1, only Hannah Brown and Carli Lloyd passed. (The other 14 quit or were medically withdrawn).

I don’t know how Brittany is going to NOT hurt herself with those ginormous fake “Jax bags”. I wouldn’t doubt if later down the line she’s going to need a surgery because one of the implants has either popped or moved! I’m 100% positive Kody will either quit or fake an injury. I’m guessing Gia is going to give up, but somehow, I think Teresa is going to do better than people think. At least she’ll last long enough to get paid. I mean, she and Brittany both have that SPOUSAL DEBT to pay off!

It’s weird to me that they have some married couples and the rest are singles. If they wanted to have a show with just people that were married they should have. I can’t help but to think that they will have an unfair advantage over everyone else.
