The fourth and final part of the Sister Wives Season 19 One-on-One aired on Sunday, giving fans of the show one final Kody Brown crash out for the road— this time about his sexuality and premarital hookups.
During the episode, host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan forced viewers to re-watch Kody’s confession about the “sexual experience” he allegedly had in college, which he revealed this season that only his ex-wife Meri Brown and remaining wife Robyn Brown knew about.
After the clip, Suki asked Kody if there were any other “sexual experiences” he was hiding, to which he claimed there were not, but that there were “other options that got close.” Just when we thought Kody had overshared enough, he then described his past behavior as “wild” but “Mormon naughty.”

“What does ‘Mormon naughty’ mean?” Suki asked, to which Kody explained, “It means I would kiss and hug, but no actual intercourse.”
Suki responded by using sports terms to describe Kody’s alleged pre-marital sexual activities, joking about the father of 18 never getting any “homeruns” or “touchdowns.” Despite Kody initially laughing at Suki’s jock jokes, he quickly changed his tune.
“You know, out of respect for my wife, I’m going to quit discussing this with you,” he told Suki.

“You guys can act like it’s the world’s business all you want,” he added.
Suki insisted to Kody that they were “just having some fun,” though Kody told her that they had “just crossed a line, so it’s done.” The interview continued with commentary from Kody’s ex-wife Christine Brown and Robyn, before returning to Kody, who was asked again about his “Mormon naughtiness.”
“No, we’re not talking about my sexuality,” Kody responded. “No, come on. That was crossing the line.”

While Suki assured Kody that she wasn’t talking about his sexuality and was actually talking about his relationship with Robyn, Kody insisted, “that was not a cool discussion.”

“I give a little bit here and it’s like, I give an inch,” he continued. “I’m generous and it’s like, ‘Well, let’s dig into his life.’ I didn’t think that was cool.”
Following Sunday’s episode, some of the show’s viewers took to social media to speculate what Kody may have meant by “sexuality.”
“The way he frames this sexual experience, it sounds more like he was trying to come out to Robyn and Meri,” one fan posted on the ‘Sister Wives’ Facebook page. “And then when he gets mad at Suki, and she wasn’t even going there.”
“I felt he was swimming in that pool too and then said it was too personal to discuss even though he’s the one who brought it up,” another wrote. “Suki dropped the ball on that one.”
“Yep, why else did he get so defensive thinking Suki was talking about his sexuality,” another speculated.
During an episode of ‘Sister Wives’ that aired in January, Kody mentioned that he had a “lover in college.”
“It was a little tryst. I was a naughty boy, based on my faith,” Kody said, admitting that he lost his virginity to this “lover” and was very upset with himself because of that.
“It was devastating to me, it was heartbreaking,” he said. “When purity is everything in the church I was in, that was everything. It’s like you’re working your way back for it.”
Viewers of Sunday’s episode were quick to bring up this scene, adding that, at the time, Kody was careful not to use “he” or “she” when discussing this lover.
There were other comments from individuals who cited the rumors about Kody’s sexuality that were revealed on ‘Sister Wives’ years ago.
“ … in 1st or 2nd season, they interviewed people in his hometown who knew him in high school and thought he was gay,” one person commented.
The high school comments were presumably referring to a Season 3 episode of ‘Sister Wives’ in which Kody and the entire Brown family traveled to Lovell, Wyoming, to visit some of Kody’s childhood friends. During the episode, a former classmate of Kody’s named April Smith told viewers that there were a number of people when they were in high school that thought Kody may have been gay.
“When we were in high school, we kind of thought that he was gay– flamboyantly gay,” April said. “He just had a very feminine side to him.

“He wore really tight pants and he always had this thing with his hair, like, he would flip it around all the time– like he still does,” she continued.

April went on to tell viewers that she was “pretty sure that Kody is not gay,” and later on in the episode, Kody denied the claims himself, explaining to viewers that he just “liked to be fashionable” and that some might even use the term “metrosexual” to describe him.
Kody wasn’t the only person to open up about their sex life during Part 4 of the One-on-One interviews. Janelle also discussed sex— marking one of the only times she has every spoken publicly on the topic. She told fans that, despite how Kody sometimes made it seem, she is not asexual and is actually “a very sexual being” off-camera.
“I’m a Taurus and I’m very Earth Mama, and I’ll just say that,” she said. “Everything earthy– food, wine, sex, all of it.”

Let me see more than five pages!! Please…. ?
Kootie is so jealous and pissed that his exes are happier than we’ve ever seen them. He’s a small and petty excuse for a man. Sobbyn is useless as usual. Either she says she doesn’t remember, denies, or refuses to answer. She’s not quick enough to think of a plausible lie, but she lies about everything, anyway. She’s not shy and pretty; she’s sly and petty.
Some of Grody’s responses were so off the wall during his segments. Your ex wives are not hung up on you, they’re answering questions about you posed to them by an interviewer you burnt bag of microwave popcorn. Trust me, all three of them have moved on and are pursuing their own interests and living their own lives. And, Mrs Brown doesn’t know or remember anything so why participate?!
I hope TLC pulls the plug on Grody, the Missus and their Flowers in the Attic children and focus on the merry divorcees!
As an aside, I wonder how much of his vitriol aimed at Christine is because she kicked him out of her bed, home, left him, remarried and is suing him for child support?
its very noticeable how his anger is mainly towards Christine now, less towards Janelle and even less towards Meri.
I wonder if his anger towards Christine is because she had the courage to leave and set a wheel in motion that lead to the other ladies leaving him and im sure it makes it worse that she hasnt sank as a person she has gone on to build a better life and seems happier then ever!
Notes to self 444 mentioned on a realitea review that also Kody always considered Christine beneath him in looks and status. So him being with her was lowering his standards even though she was polygamy royalty, like buying the shitty house in a great neighborhood. Her leaving was a huge hit to his ego or in Kody speak “I didn’t even like that Fat B anyways! Insert pout”.
I like Christine and that fact this nerd and his hair net think anyone is beneath him because of their weight is laughable. He has a very handsome wife!
Personally, I always thought of Christine as the pretty wife- Robyn wasn’t much prettier, so she’d be second. Janelle is average looking, and Meri is… bleh, but that is just my opinion. I honestly also think my opinion of Meri was also influenced by the fact that she was just always so desperate which made her more unattractive in my eyes. I don’t like how he’s treated any of them but especially Christine, whatsoever, and I hardly watched the show and mainly kept up with the show through “The Ashley”
Interesting Poops your bring that up about Meri. In the same interview the husband of notes to self (both who have left the faith) says that the AUB strips women of their autonomy and self-esteem. He found it it impossible to date any of the women within the faith or those who had left because their confidence was nonexistent and self esteem in the shitter, so desperate.
I never thought about it like that but yeah that’s the energy Meri gives off.
Robyn looks like her mother Handsome Alice.
That, plus shes the ex with the minor child with him. I doubt he enjoys having to pay child support etc…
Poor, poor man.
Having to provide for a small percentage of his offspring. He is such a myopically tiny and small insecure man covering it up by collecting women, and then trashing the women whenever he needs a boost.
