It looks like Kody Brown won’t be taking home the title of most-popular cast member during his upcoming appearance on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. 

Days after the Sister Wives star was brutally (and hilariously) dragged on social media over the news that he’s competing in the grueling military-inspired reality TV series, two of Kody’s Season 4 cast mates have hinted that they didn’t get along with him while filming. 

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia was the first cast member to speak out about conflict Kody had with cast members. Shortly after that, Gia Giudice also hinted that she had trouble with Kody on-set.

On the latest episode of her Casual Chaos podcast, Next Gen NYC star Gia told listeners that she and one particular Season 4 cast member didn’t exactly strike up a friendship during their time on the show and that viewers would apparently be able to witness the tension for themselves when the new season airs. 

“I can’t even name the person that I really did not get along with on this cast,” Gia said, as reported by Us Weekly. “There were definitely some people that would get under your skin a little bit, and you guys will see that on the show.” 

While Gia didn’t mention Kody by name on her podcast, she all but confirmed hinted that she was referring to the TLC star. 

“You guys have all been talking about him already,” she said. “So, I’m sure you could assume who it is.” 

Gia’s comment is almost certainly referring to comments Brianna made on Instagram Stories about Kody soon after the cast list was released last week. During a Q&A session, Brianna was asked by a fan about her experience filming with Kody. She wrote that she “didn’t know who [Kody] was while filming.  

“ … And we didn’t necessarily ~get along well~ lmao you will see,” she added.

While neither Gia nor Brianna seemed to enjoy their time around Kody, they did form a close bond with each other. 

On her podcast, Gia spoke highly of the rest of the Season 4 cast, especially Brianna whom Gia said she “could not have done” the show without.

“We really motivated each other and stuck it through together,” she said. “She’s amazing. She is one of my friends for life.” 

“Everyone was so strong, so motivating and I think we all motivated each other in some way,” Gia said of the cast (possibly sans Kody). “I would say we were a really strong team.” 

Among that “strong team” was Gia’s mom, Teresa Giudice of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, whom Gia said she was “so excited” to share the ‘Special Forces’ experience with.

“It’s not every day that you get to say that you have done some of the craziest tasks and challenges with your mom,” she said. “This is definitely an experience that I will hold very close to my heart and remember forever, that I was able to do this with her.” 

Teresa shared a similar sentiment with fans on social media over the weekend. 

“One of the bravest things I’ve ever done – and the most meaningful, because I got to do it with my daughter by my side,” she wrote of her ‘Special Forces’ appearance. “Gia, sharing this journey with you made every challenge more powerful. Our bond grew stronger with every step, and I couldn’t be more proud … .”
