Brittany Cartwright has reportedly nabbed herself a new man amid her split from husband Jax Taylor; however, it appears that The Valley star’s new boyfriend is currently someone else’s husband.
Last week, photos of Brittany enjoying a night out with a man named Brandon Hanson began circulating online, with Brittany and Jax’s castmate Kristen Doute also spotted with the pair at the event. (Kristen later talked up Britt’s new boo to People, telling the magazine he’s “very wonderful and very cool. [He has a] very family-feeling.”)
Kristen’s comments about Brandon having a “very family-feeling” were apparently spot on, but not in a good way.
When some of the new couple’s dayte noight date night pics were posted by @pumprulesfan on TikTok, a woman named Jasina Stanko hopped into the comments to let fans know that Brittany’s new boo is still a married man.
“That man is married,” Jasina— who bears a striking resemblance to Britt— wrote, later adding, “I married him. You know him?”
As fans of ‘The Valley’ know, Brittany filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024 after five years of marriage and welcoming son Cruz in April 2021. Despite the pair having called it quits more than a year ago, their divorce has yet to be finalized, though they remain separated.
According to Page Six, Brittany’s new man is currently in a similar situation with his own estranged spouse.
“Brittany’s new relationship comes at a time they are both experiencing similar life changes,” a source told the outlet. “Like Brittany, [Brandon] is going through a divorce and he and his ex have been separated for the past seven months.”
The source went on to claim that Brittany and Brandon have known each other for a while, but that they “reconnected well after [Brandon] had already been separated.”
“The two have found comfort in each other as they’ve been navigating their respective divorces and personal life changes,” the source added.
While Brittany and Brandon have seemingly bonded over the fact that they’re both separated and in the process of divorcing their respective spouses, Brandon and Jasina haven’t been separated for nearly as long as Brittany and Jax, who separated in February 2024.
Unlike Brittany and Jax, who share just one child, Brandon and Jasina share two children, one of whom is less than a year old, according to the reality TV fan page @cici.loves.you on Instagram. (Brandon’s Instagram bio states that he’s a “father of 3,” suggesting that he also has another child from a previous relationship.)
It’s also being reported that Jasina follows Brittany on Instagram, as well as former Vanderpump Rules star/occasional drop-in on ‘The Valley’/Jax’s literal neighbor, Tom Schwartz.
Meanwhile, Brittany, Kristen, Scheana Shay, Luke Broderick, Jasmine Goode and Brittany’s publicist are all currently following Brandon on social media.
Brittany has yet to comment on her boyfriend’s marital status.

Is this the same Brandon that she was around right after Jax moved out- the one who was friends with Jax? Also, what did she do to her face?
Ok married but separated so what’s the issue…
Brandon’s ex must really be butthurt and looking for her 15 minutes. She’s acting like they haven’t been separated for 7 months. Yeah they’re still technically married, just like Brittany and Jax are but they’ve been separated.
I understand 7 months isn’t a long time and Brittany has probably been dating him for a couple months. Thats a fresh separation, but no one is cheating in this scenario.
I say 15 minutes because she’s following Brittany’s former “VPR” cast members. I’m guessing she wants to be on “The Valley” too now. 🙄
