Emily Maynard is going to be a grandmother!
On Wednesday, Emily’s 20-year-old daughter, Ricki Hendrick, revealed the news on social media by posting sonogram photos to her Instagram Story.
“Netflix told me I’m not allowed to talk about it,” Ricki wrote on the first photo, referencing a comment Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa made during this week’s Season 7 reunion.
In another photo, Ricki revealed that she is expecting a baby girl.
“My heart is so full, yet my stomach is so empty because she hates all food. I’m convinced,” she wrote.
According to Us Weekly, Emily has yet to comment on her daughter’s pregnancy news; however, as Bachelor Nation fans know, she has always been very open with fans about the details of her life.
Years before she appeared on Season 15 of The Bachelor, Emily was engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who tragically died in an airplane accident in 2004 at the age of 24. Shortly after Ricky’s death, Emily, discovered she was pregnant. She went on to welcome daughter Josephine Riddick Hendrick, aka Ricki, at the age of 19.
Emily accepted a proposal from ‘Bachelor’ Brad Womack at the end of Season 15, though the two ultimately called it quits. She went on to be the lead on Season 8 of The Bachelorette in 2012, where she left the show engaged to Jef Holm. Three months later, the couple called off their engagement.
In 2014, Emily married Tyler Johnson in a surprise wedding. Between 2015 and 2022, the two welcomed four sons and one daughter together.
During a 2017 podcast interview, Emily expressed regret over her decision to allow Ricki to appear on ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette,’ claiming that she wished she had kept both experiences “totally separate” from her daughter.
“At the time, I thought, ‘This is it,’ and I never would’ve brought her into it had I not thought that,” she said. “So I wish that I maybe would’ve taken a step back. Maybe sheltered her from that a little bit more.”
Ricki has not revealed when her baby girl is due to arrive.
