Sister Wives fans are clamoring to get Christine Brown‘s new tell-all book, causing it to zoom to the Number 3 spot on Amazon’s most sold non-fiction book list. While the show’s fans are lapping up all of the tea Christine is spilling about her ex-husband Kody Brown, her former sister wives and the show, and leaving positive reviews for the book— Christine says that she didn’t give Kody & Co. a heads up regarding what stories she included in Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family & Finding Freedom.
“No, I didn’t tell Kody and Robyn and Meri [what was in my book],” she said in a new interview with The Sarah Fraser Show. “As far as them getting an advanced copy, Janelle didn’t get an advanced copy. I didn’t give an advanced copy to anybody. I didn’t know that I should do that. So now that you’re saying that, I’m like, ‘Shoot, maybe I should have.'”
(Christine did clarify that she alerted two of her sisters, as well as Janelle— whom she remains close to— about some of the stories she told in the book.)
“But Kody and Robyn? No. I don’t know if they’re ever going to read it,” Christine said.
Speaking of The Curled One and his wife, Christine says she has yet to hear from them regarding the release of her book.
“He’s not going to say anything,” she said of Kody. “Of course, I’m sure he’s upset but he hasn’t told me. He hasn’t reached out to me. I’m just going to hear it through the grapevine if he’s upset. But I’m like, ‘OK, be upset.’
As fans of ‘Sister Wives’ know, Christine confirmed her split from Kody in 2021 after more than 25 years of marriage. Kody’s other wives Meri and Janelle went on to split from Kody in 2023 and 2022, respectively, while Kody remains married to Robyn.)
Christine stated that she would love to hear Kody’s versions of the events she talked about in her book.
“This is my perspective, and this is my point of view, and this is what I felt happened. If you feel different, write a book! Do it, please!” Christine said in a message to Kody.
“We’d all love to know what goes on inside your mind. We would love it. We would all read that! I know maybe people would read it because they would want to know why and how does your mind even work like that?! So if he needs to write a book, he can.”
As for Meri, Christine stated that they have no relationship currently, and that there is no chance of them having a friendship in the future.
“But I do wish her well,” she said. “I see and I hear things that she does. It looks like she’s living her best life and I’m so excited for her. That’s great. She has some good friends, and I think that’s great too. But there is no need for us to have any type of relationship whatsoever. It’s not going to serve either of us.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Christine’s book goes into detail about an incident that went down involving her daughter Mykelti and Meri’s child Leon when they were kids. She wrote that the incident— in which Meri yelled at and embarrassed Mykelti for something trivial— caused Christine to no longer want to be friends with Meri.
“Once I get rid of a relationship that’s unhealthy, it doesn’t come back,” she said. “I don’t re-let people into my life if there’s not going to be any trust or value.”

All of you supporters of Christine, you do realize that this is still her children’s father that she is talking shite about??? Like what a self serving smug bitch. No matter what hell I went through with my ex I still wouldn’t publish a book about it because of the children I had with him and because that would make them feel awful!!!! Oh and because it’s petty and pathetic and greedy to share the dirt about the father of your children for money.
The father of her children that has disappointed and neglected said children every chance he’s gotten! And I can guarantee that she talked to her kids about what was in the book and got their approval ahead of time. Unlike their deadbeat dad, she actually cares about her children.
Can’t stand her I find her nasty and mykelti is following in her footsteps.
In the show she was always saying she threw herself at kody and the fact her father was high up in the church, anyone would feel obligated to be with her. No wonder her marriage didn’t last, it was obvious what Christine wants she gets and if she don’t she throws a tantrum.
I can’t stand kody or Robyn either.
But I do believe Christine was behind meri not being welcome back in, her and Janelle are still isolating meri

I am no fan of any of the Brown so called family. But I am willing to bet Robyn could care less about the book, other than not making any money off of it and as for Kody…I doubt he can read or write. And as for Christine’s husband David, I wonder how long he will be able to put up with her not letting go of the past? I mean she even suggested he and Kody become pals! What a messed up bunch!
She still has to co-parent with Kody. & it’s literally her job to talk about her life.
Her job? Her job is to co parent her youngest child. I can only wonder how poor Truely feels being in the middle of a mess she never signed up for. Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn chose to put their children before the public and their show of drama. They were out to prove polygamy works. NOT! Christine made a choice to marry quickly and put her new marriage out before the public. I understand she wanted a different wedding but her life since marrying David is to bash Kody and Robyn as much as she can. I really wonder how much Christine accepts as her part of the past. Her job is to be a good mother to her kids…not bash their father even if he is a jerk. Get real Ann.
Considering everything Kody put her through – publishing the nacho story in their book, neglecting Truely and almost killing her, saying he never loved Christine – I’d say Christine has a right to tell her side of the story.
If my husband could make us a ton of money by spilling about his exes, I’d say “go for it, babe” 😆

She always seemed off
How is that off? A lot of it was a long time ago so maybe exact small details aren’t 100 percent accurate, but she is telling her story how she remembers it happening, which includes her feelings about events. That’s what she said. You would rather her lie and speak for Kody/everyone and state “this is exactly what happened, blah blah blah, so and so did this because…”. I mean, we all know Kody, right? I’m sure there are a different version of events for every thing this man does or is involved in because he is delusional. I personally respect Christine more for not speaking on behalf of others and saying her recounts and versions of events and feelings about events are the only perspective possible and she knows how everyone else feels. She does not, and there is always 3 sides to a story: yours, mine, and the truth. She can’t possibly know what was going through people’s heads, or what their intentions were, she can only guess. I think she knows if he wrote a book it would seriously backfire on him, and she’s literally just f-ing with him at this point. Let’s not forget she also has to coparent with him for another brief while she has Truly – even then, let’s be honest, it never stopes until you are dead. You will always be your kid’s parents, who they will want at events together so might as well try and be civil (i.e. weddings, holidays, births, funerals, grandkid events etc.).
The better question is can Kody and Robyn read. Is that safe to learn? So many questions. Hey maybe she can have a painting commissioned to express her feelings. Speak their love language.
