‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Stars Lorrana, Garrick & Dannielle Merrifield Welcome Baby Girl; Garrick Reveals If They’ll Add More Wives & Kids to Family

“We have a new baby AND a solid storyline for Season 7!”

The Merrifields of TLC’s Seeking Sister Wife are officially a family of seven.

The trio revealed this week that Lorrana– who became Garrick’s wife and Dannielle’s sister wife in October 2024– gave birth to daughter Sarah Mae on July 3. Baby Sarah joins older siblings Solomon, Geremiah and Leia– the three children Dannielle and Garrick welcomed before Lorrana joined their family.

TLC posted a video to social media on Monday of Lorrana, Garrick and Dannielle revealing their “really big news,” before introducing fans to the “new addition to the family.”

“Baby Sarah is such a blessing to the family,” Dannielle told viewers. “She is very similar to Lorrana. I can already tell she has a gift of laughter and brings joy to the family.”

“OK, who’s gonna tell these people I’m laughing AT them, not WITH them…?”

Lorrana went on to share that Sarah sleeps really well and “loves the whole family,” while Garrick noted that they are all “very happy” and “very thankful” for the newest member of their family.

Prior to Monday’s episode of ‘Seeking Sister Wife,’ the Merrifields opened up to People about life as a family of seven, with Lorrana telling the outlet she’s “so happy to see Sarah growing up alongside her siblings, creating bonds and receiving so much love from the whole family.”

“She is very smiley, always with a wide and cheerful smile when she sees each of us,” she said, with Garrick adding, “ … I’m excited to see more of her personality and seeing her and Leia as sisters playing together and growing up together. It is such a blessing that we had Sarah at this time, so Leia will grow up with her also.”

While Lorrana had a “delicate” birth experience due to Sarah being breech, Lorrana said she’s thankful that her daughter was ultimately “born healthy and beautiful.”

“Holding her in my arms brought me a peace and love that I had never felt before,” she said. “In the first few days, I felt a little emotional. I had just given birth and was recovering from the cesarean section, still in pain.

“I even had difficulties breastfeeding my daughter,” Lorrana continued. “It was a very difficult process for me. Breastfeeding is a beautiful connection between mother and daughter, and seeing that it was difficult for me, I felt guilty. But, thank God, things worked out.”

“Happy wives, happy lives!”

Lorrana went on to give Garrick and Dannielle credit for their support following Sarah’s arrival.

“We took turns some nights so I could sleep a little, among other things,” she explained. “Now I feel much better, both physically and emotionally, and I believe that, little by little, things will return to normal. But, definitely, I feel like a new woman after the birth of my daughter.”

Garrick described co-parenting as a plural family as a “wonderful” experience, noting the support he, Lorrana and Dannielle have provided for one another in recent months.

“It’s a blessing to have all of our family involved helping each other,” Garrick said. “It’s definitely allowed us to do different things. Lorrana and I have been able to go on trips when Dannielle took the kids and vice versa, Lorrana is taking the kids so Dannielle and I are able to celebrate our anniversary. It’s been a blessing to have such a big family with all the love and support and to be there for each other.”

Even Dannielle– who struggled with her emotions in Season 6 as Lorrana and Garrick’s prepared to tie the knot– said that the Merrifield’s new family dynamic has been “special.”

“These are happy tears, I swear!”

“ … It’s so special to have Lorrana in the house and that we are actually a family now, living plural and experiencing all the benefits of the lifestyle that God has called us to,” she said. “It is really a blessing growing our family.”

While introducing fans to baby Sarah on Monday, Garrick seemingly confirmed that the Merrifield family will continue to grow in the future.

“We’re all excited as a family,” Garrick said in the video posted by TLC. “[The] family’s growing with babies and [we’re] looking forward to more wives and more babies.”

New episodes of ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ air Mondays on TLC.

  1. I am going to go with the theory: if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all—–So all I have to say is: baby Sarah is a beautiful child.

  2. Derpy Ick grinning like a dog with two d**ks is nauseating. I don’t know how he got one woman, let alone two.

Nathalia and Roberta dodged bullets, by not being tied to this dildo. Just (allegedly) having to (bleh!) sleep with him had to be gross enough.

  3. How about more HUSBANDS for the women? If the men get a free pass to live out their sick fantasies then the women should too. But then again that’s the double standard of religion.

    1. This man is a predator – he purposely seeks out women from other countries where English isn’t their first language (or they speak/understand English very little) brings them over to America where they’re isolated without family and friends and then controls how they’ll fit into his life. His MO is disgusting and Dannielle behaves/acts like some sort of Robyn Brown/Ghislaine Maxwell hybrid. Awful people.

  4. I am actually shocked they finally managed to accomplish getting a woman to stay with them and have a baby with Garrick.
