Just days after filing a lawsuit against Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann over what he claims are untrue sexual assault allegations, Marciano Brunette took to social media to confirm that he fully believes in “getting even.”
Earlier this week, the Vanderpump Villa star posted an Instagram Reel with a voiceover of someone talking about “getting even” when someone has wronged them.
“So you believe in getting even? Hell to the yeah,” the clip goes on to state.
Marciano posted this pointed post just a day after TMZ reported that he had filed a lawsuit against Demi for defamation. In his suit, Marciano claims the ‘SLOMW’ star has damaged his reputation by falsely calling him a “sexual predator” and accusing him of sexual assault.
As fans of ‘SLOMW’ know, Demi maintained her claims against Marciano throughout Season 3 of the Hulu reality series, while also making multiple comments about the alleged incident publicly and on social media.
Despite this, Marciano is insisting in court documents that Demi is lying about what went down between them while filming ‘Vanderpump Villa’ in Italy in August 2024. According to Marciano, he and Demi shared a consensual kiss off-camera, but over time, Demi “reframed the obviously consensual interaction as one of sexual misconduct and then as sexual assault” in order to give herself a storyline on ‘SLOMW.’

(Marciano is also suing ’SLOMW’ producer Jeff Jenkins for damages, claiming production aired Demi’s allegations in a way “designed to maximize impact while cutting Marciano out and denying him any meaningful opportunity to respond.” According to Marciano, production had “obvious reasons” to doubt Demi’s allegations, but instead, they “amplified the same accusations for profit.”)
Among the documents in Marciano’s lawsuit are alleged texts from Demi that were sent to him after their interaction in Italy, along with claims that Demi continued to stay in contact with him for months after the encounter via texts, calls and FaceTime. He also claims that Demi invited him to visit her in Utah and California and that she also shared her location with him.
“That behavior confirms a continued relationship, not a person reacting to sexual assault,” he argues in the lawsuit.
Marciano claims that Demi’s sexual assault allegations have damaged his reputation and cost him multiple business opportunities. On a recent episode of the Boyfriend Material podcast, Marciano revealed that he was slated to appear on an upcoming season of Perfect Match, but was informed less than a week before filming began that casting had decided to go “in a different direction.”

Marciano also spoke about Demi’s actions after the Villa, while continuing to insist that everything that happened between them was “so consensual.”
“ … it’s so unfortunate to see what’s coming out now, because everything that happened in Vanderpump Villa was so consensual, she was so for it,” he said. “All of the flirtatiousness was mainly on her part and I was just feeding into it.”

He also claimed that in addition to him and Demi sharing a kiss while in Italy, Demi told him she loved him when she was leaving the Villa and he said it back.
“That’s it,” he said, despite Demi going on to change the story “multiple times.”
“She originally said that I groped her, she said that she was touched inappropriately,” he said. “Now, recently, she’s been saying I groped her private parts. Then she’s saying I slapped her ass. She’s saying multiple things that are way out there that never happened. Never, ever, ever, ever, happened.
“ … whatever happened in that Villa did not happen that [Demi’s] saying and that’s what’s so f**king annoying and pisses me off, because you have no right to try to spin this narrative because you’re worried about your marriage because you f**ked up,” he said. “You shouldn’t have been doing that s**t.

“You’re the one that’s married, not me,” he added.
Regarding his innocence, Marciano insisted on the podcast that “the proof is coming.”

Good for him. After the latest famous legal case, BL and JB, that crazy bachelor stalking fake pregnancy lady, and as a survivor of multiple assaults, I am so sick of women falsely accusing men and using actual victims to prop up their narrative.
If that is what happened here he has every right to defend himself, and demand a retraction or monetary compensation.
Probably going to get down voted to hell for this, but I actually believe Marciano 🤷🏻 Demi has a history of far exaggerating the truth … Kinda like the time whenever Chase slightly put his hand on her back to move her out of the way at the Halloween party and she straight up said she was assaulted? And proceeded to have her Grandpa husband go after Chase and sick em like a rabid dog? People who swing around false SA allegations that can ruin someone’s life to recreate a narrative are highly dangerous people. Maybe you shouldn’t have been acting like an unfaithful wife and then you wouldn’t have to lie to cover up your mistakes. Own it.
