Just days after the tragic death of reality star Mickey Lee, a clip from her season of Big Brother has resurfaced, showing the Season 27 star sharing that a palm reader predicted that she would die at a young age.
In the clip, Mickey and “Big Brother 27” House Guest Ashley Hollis joke about the palm readings they’d received from House Guest Ava Pearl, who tells fortunes by reading palms, according to TMZ. While Mickey and Ashley are laughing about the experience, Mickey shares that Ava informed her that she had a short lifeline, indicating that she would die young.
“Wait, am I going to die?!” Mickey says while recalling the interaction she had with Ava, who reportedly switched gears at that point in Mickey’s reading by moving on to do Ashley’s palm reading.
The clip ends with Mickey and Ashley joking that Ava allegedly admitted to them during their readings that she “didn’t know” the difference between the line that indicates how many children someone will have and the line that indicates how long someone’s life will be.
“I’m like, ‘Ava, you’re not good at this at all,’” Mickey recalled, with Ashley adding, “Ava, stick to your day job.”
As The Ashley told you last week, Mickey passed away Christmas night after spending multiple days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a series of cardiac arrests. She was only 35 years old.
Days before her death, Mickey’s family shared online that Mickey was in the ICU after suffering “a series of cardiac arrests” as a result of complications from the flu. Last week, her family listed her as in “critical but stable condition,” while launching a fundraiser to help with medical costs. As of press time, more than $42,000 has been raised through the GoFundMe.
Shortly after Mickey’s death, longtime ‘Big Brother’ host Julie Chen Moonves revealed on social media that Mickey had informed her months earlier that she had been born with a hole in her heart.
“Two months ago I interviewed Mickey Lee on God 101,” Julie wrote. “That’s when she revealed to me that she was born with a hole in her heart, and as an adult she survived an ATV accident that should have killed her, but God kept her alive. Last night God brought her home, Rest In Peace dear Mickey. I will see you again on the other side in eternity. I pray the good Lord comforts and heals your family and loved ones as we grieve your passing. Amen.”
Mickey’s loved ones have not publicly addressed Mickey’s medical history, only sharing with supporters on the page for the online fundraiser that Mickey had “recently suffered a sudden and devastating medical emergency and experienced a series of cardiac arrests due to complications from the flu” leading up to her death.
While Ava has yet to respond to the resurfaced clip of Mickey’s palm reading results, she took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to share a post from the official ‘Big Brother’ social media page in memory of Mickey.
