Seeking Sister Wife star Lorrana Merrifield took to social media on Thursday to confirm that she’s forgiven husband Garrick following his November arrest for domestic violence, revealing that the two are “moving forward” in the new year.
Lorrana, who became Garrick’s second wife last year before going on to welcome daughter Sarah Mae in July, confirmed the status of her relationship with Garrick on Instagram by posting a series of throwback photos taken during Garrick’s marriage proposal to her.
“Moving forward with faith, gratitude, and hope for a new year of blessings,” she captioned the carousel of smooch-filled proposal pictures. “Happy 2026.”
Lorrana’s hope for a “happy 2026” comes less than two months after Garrick– who also shares three kids with first wife Dannielle– was arrested in Colorado for domestic violence against her.
Shortly after Garrick’s November 24 arrest, TMZ revealed the affidavit for his arrest warrant, which stated that Lorrana informed police that Garrick took her phone away during an argument because she threatened to call the police on him. Lorrana alleged that Garrick not only refused to allow her to contact her family in Brazil, but that he also threatened to call Immigration & Customs Enforcement on her.
She also informed police that someone had disconnected the Wi-Fi in the family’s home at the time of the incident, which she suspected Garrick may have done to further prevent her from making outside communication.
Garrick went on to bond out of jail on the same day of his arrest and a mandatory protective order was issued days later, preventing the TLC star from making contact with his second wife. (It is unknown if that protective order is still in place or if it was only temporary.)
Following Garrick’s blink-and-you-miss-it stint behind bars, both he and Dannielle wiped nearly all photos of Lorrana from their respective social media pages, though it remains unknown if Dannielle played a part in the alleged events that led to Garrick’s arrest.
As The Ashley told you last week, Garrick and Dannielle are currently following Lorrana again on social media, and Lorrana is following them back, as well as Garrick’s business page and the Merrifield Family’s official social media page.
Lorrana also took to Instagram last week to post a photo of herself, daughter Sarah Mae, and Garrick and Dannielle’s daughter Leia, while predicting that the half-sisters “will be best friends forever”– a post that led many fans online to believe that amends had been made among the Merrifields.
While Lorrana’s post with Sarah Mae and Leia appeared to be a hint that she and Garrick had reconciled, her latest post marks the first time that she’s seemingly confirmed publicly that she and the father of four are, in fact, back together.
Meanwhile, neither Lorrana, Garrick nor Dannielle have released a public statement regarding Garrick’s November arrest.
Garrick is due back in court on January 6 for a status conference in his case.
