‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Issues Apology to “Supportive” Wife Robyn for Remaining Loyal to Him Amid His Trio of Divorces

“Not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes they wear visors!”

On Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives, viewers will watch as Kody Brown wraps up his ex-wife apology tour by issuing a final “I’m sorry” to his only remaining wife Robyn, insisting that he owes his “shy and pretty” soulmate an apology “most of all.”

As the show’s fans know, the last few episodes of ‘Sister Wives’ have followed along as Kody has doled out face-to-face apologies to ex-wives Janelle, Christine and Meri, all of whom ended their respective unions with the father of 18 between 2021 and 2023.

In Us Weekly’s sneak preview of Sunday’s episode, Kody returns home to Flagstaff where he continues to make amends– this time with Robyn for the way he acted towards her as three of his four marriages came to an end.

“Here’s to a 2026 free of Kody and his ‘shy and pretty’ wife.”

“ … I need to stop with the self-deprecation … regarding you and me,” Kody tells Robyn, who responds by admitting to Kody that she’s “kind of pulled away” from him in moments when she felt that he was being “emotionally unsafe.”

“Damn, I was REALLY hoping those two would leave that word in 2025…”

Kody proceeds to tell Robyn that he believes some of his recent actions (AKA apologizing to his former spouses) may ultimately help their marriage– a notion with which Robyn agrees.

“I think taking accountability for his part in the marriages falling apart, I think was something that gave him some peace and will help in his healing,” Robyn tells viewers. “But then I also just see him just kind of taking a sigh of relief, just like, ‘OK, I took accountability for my part.’”

“Is the ‘accountability’ Kody supposedly took in the room with us or…?”

In another clip from Sunday’s episode, Robyn claims that, since returning from his apology tour, Kody has a “peace” in him that she hasn’t seen in a long time.

Back at the Mountain Mansion, Kody thanks his fourth-turned-only wife for “being loyal” to him amid his trio of divorces and, presumably, the family discourse that followed.

“Well, you deserve it,” Robyn replies. “You’ve earned it from me, honey. I’m right here.”

“For better or worse…”

While Kody thanks Robyn for being so understanding, he also admits that he “hasn’t been very fair” with her.

“I’ve been apologizing to everybody in spite of all how brutal they were, I was apologizing to them, but you were never brutal,” Kody says. “You were never unkind, you were never disloyal. I’ve been apologizing to everybody. I think I owe you an apology most of all.”

While speaking to viewers, Kody reiterates that he’s handed out apologies to everybody except his children but Robyn, despite Robyn’s alleged unwavering support of him.

Meanwhile, viewers are still awaiting an apology for having to sit through THIS mess…

“Holy cow, I’ve apologized to everybody but you,” he says. “The woman who has been so supportive through all of my BS, all of my weakness, all of my anger, all of my ranting and raving and complaining.”

  1. ” of how brutal they were” speaking of Meri, Janelle and Christine. Is he kidding? The so called apologies were nothing. Kody still takes on no responsibility for the treatment the the women and their children. Why they agreed to sit down with him is beyond me other than to collect a paycheck. Mrs. Shy and Pretty Brown is still what she is, a player . She wanted to be #1 and eventually got rid of the first 3 wives. It still sickens me to remember the picture she had given to Kody for Christmas of Kody and her 3 kids from her first marriage. Talk about a slap in the faces of his other kids. I don’t ever see Kody making amends with his other kids. What I would like is to see an end to Sister Wives once and for all. Meri, Janelle and Christine have moved on with their lives. I doubt the world is really interested in the lives of Kody and Robyn….until she files for divorce.

    1. If I had to guess, they were paid to appear in this season. All of them worked their asses off, except poor Robyn. Meri stood up to him and I loved every minute of it. The show should be cancelled…

      1. I agree. They did it for a paycheck but otherwise it was obvious they could care less about Kody’s so called apologies. I loved it too that Meri stood up to him and made it clear he was not controlling the conversation and that she was not interested in his apologies. Well done Meri! And yes, the show should be cancelled.
