Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke have officially called it quits after four years of marriage and 10 seasons of Summer House.
The ‘Summer House’ spouses confirmed their split on Monday via matching social media statements.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the statement read. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.
“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” the statement concluded.
As longtime viewers of ‘Summer House’ know, Kyle, 43, and Amanda, 34, met and began dating while filming Season 1 of the Bravo series, with the two going on to get engaged during Season 3 in 2018. Kyle and Amanda tied the knot in September 2021 at a ceremony held at Amanda’s family’s home in New Jersey, which was featured on Season 6 of ‘Summer House.’
While the two have had their share of ups and downs over the years– including when Kyle admitted to cheating on Amanda before the two got engaged– both have continued to deny rumors of infidelity and separation, even amid on-camera disagreements about where they wanted to live and whether or not they wanted to have children.
Amanda revealed to Us Weekly in May that she and Kyle were still at odds over when (or if) they would start a family, with Amanda insisting that the Loverboy founder/DJ was “not ready” for fatherhood.

“He’s gonna have to be on my page,” Amanda said of Kyle. “If he could grow the baby, it could be on his timeline. But it’s happening in this body. There was a lot of stuff on this [last] season that was him wanting to be a father … but he’s having this conversation with other people and not the person that’s supposed to carry his child. So if he was actively [saying], ‘Hey, I want to have kids. Like, we should start trying to have kids,’ that would be different. That’s not a conversation that we’re having.
“I know that he wants to be a father one day, but I know he’s not ready,” she added.
Despite Kyle and Amanda seemingly remaining a united front throughout the rumors surrounding their marriage, Page Six reported in November that the Bravo pair were “going through a challenging time”; However, a source close to the couple told the outlet that Kyle and Amanda were “not on a break” and that both were “committed to working on their relationship.”
Interestingly, the entire Season 10 ‘Summer House’ cast is scheduled to attend a fan event in New York next week. The live event will reportedly include a “live cast conversation that promises plenty of tea and exclusive clips from the upcoming season.” At this time, both Amanda and Kyle are still slated to attend.
It was also announced in September that Kyle and Amanda would be joining the ‘Summer House’ spinoff, In the City (working title), which will follow the lives of New Yorkers– including a few familiar faces from the ‘Summer House’ cast– as they live and work in Manhattan. ‘In the City’ is set to premiere later this year.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Amanda, Kyle and the rest of the ‘Summer House’ cast when Season 10 premieres February 3 on Bravo.

This is the least surprising announcement that’s ever come out of reality tv.
Right I was more shocked when they actually got married.
