From An Unlikely Affair to an unlikely invitation…
On a recent episode of their newly released podcast, ‘An Unlikely Affair,’ Lala Kent of The Valley and actress Ambyr Childers invited the current girlfriend of their mutual ex, Randall Emmett, to join their podcast once she and the controversial producer inevitably call it quits.
As The Ashley previously told you, Lala and Ambyr announced on social media in December that they were teaming up for a weekly podcast where they would reportedly “dive into the realities single mothers face, drawing from a past that once made them sworn enemies after sharing the same ex.”
That ex, of course, is Randall, whom Lala got engaged to in 2018 and welcomed daughter Ocean with in 2021. At some point during Lala and Randall’s relationship– which ended for good in 2021 after Randall allegedly cheated on Lala– it was confirmed that the two had started dating while Randall was still married to Ambyr, the mother of his two oldest daughters.
Despite their respective co-parenting challenges with Randall, Lala and Ambyr went on to become friends, due to their children being half-siblings.
During the February 8 episode of their podcast, Lala referred to Randall as “our ex” when talking to Ambyr, to which Ambyr joked that it sounded as if herself, Lala and Randall “were in a throuple.”
“I wish,” Lala replied. “Maybe I would have stayed sexually active throughout the whole f**king [relationship], alright? That would have been f**king nice!”
Ambyr then noted that Lala’s use of the phrase “our ex” also made it sound as if they were “like the Mormons” who practice polygamy, to which Lala joked that she would just start referring to Randall as Ambyr’s ex.
“Now he’s my ex?” Ambry said. “You took him from me, but thank you, by the way. Thank you … .”
As the conversation went on, Lala and Ambyr jokingly extended an offer to Randall’s current girlfriend– a woman named Alyssa– to join their podcast once her relationship with the pickleball enthusiast inevitably goes south.
“By the way, if the new girl is listening, thank you,” Lala said, with Ambyr adding, “You know what I always say? Alyssa, there’s always a spot for you. There’s always a spot for Alyssa. Always.”
While Lala, Ambyr and their podcast guests Brittany Cartwright and Janet Caperna laughed at the idea of Randall’s trio of exes appearing on a podcast together, Lala told listeners that she actually likes Randall’s current partner “a lot,” mostly because she’s heard rumors that the woman has been unfaithful to Randall.
“ … I hear she f**ks around on him,” Lala claimed. “I’m like, she’s the smartest b*tch he’s ever dated. We should have been doing that.”
“I know,” Ambyr added. “She should write a book.”
While Randall’s reality TV star and actress exes publicly made peace with each other long ago and are obviously comfortable making light of their unique situation, the two previously acknowledged their complicated past in the official trailer for ‘An Unlikely Affair,’ which dropped in December.
“ … you were the wife, I was the mistress,” Lala said to Ambyr, who assured the Bravo star that all’s forgiven.
“I f**king love you now,” Ambyr replied. “ … for a time, I didn’t love you so much, Lala, but now I do.”
