The Vanderpump Rules baby boom continues!
Over the weekend, Lala Kent and her fiancé Randall Emmett welcomed their first child together. Their daughter is the second ‘VP’ baby to be born this year, and will not be the last.
Randall first alerted fans on Sunday that Lala had gone into labor. He posted a photo to Instagram showing Lala in a hospital bed, along with the caption, “And so it begins.” Later, Lala posted a photo of herself holding their daughter, whose name she announced in the photo caption.
“Ocean Kent Emmett,” Lala wrote.
Randall later shared the same photo to his Instagram, along with the caption, “She’s healthy, beautiful, and perfect like her mother!”
This is Lala’s first child and Randall’s third. (He shares two daughters with his ex-wife Ambyr Childers.)
After it was revealed (via a skydiver using a pink parachute after jumping out of a plane, naturally) that his baby with Lala was a girl, Randall expressed his excitement about being a girl dad again.
“I feel like I’m really good with girls…she’s going to get a little Lala and they can cuddle and watch movies and get their nails done,” he told Us Weekly.
Baby Ocean’s birth comes about two months after the birth of Hartford Clark— the daughter born to former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark. Next up in the ‘VP’ birthing stirrups is Brittany Cartwright, who, along with husband Jax Taylor, announced she was expecting in September 2020, the same month as Lala and Randall did. Brittany and Jax are expecting a boy.
After that, Scheana Shay is due to give birth to her first child, a baby girl fathered by Scheana’s boyfriend Brock Davies.
Lala’s ‘Vanderpump’ pals congratulated her and Randall in the post’s comment section.
“Such a stunning mama,” Stassi wrote. “What a magical day. We love Baby Ocean.”
“Love you my gorgeous La and you little baby Ocean! I can’t believe she’s here!” Kristen Doute wrote.
“Congratulations gorgeous!” Brittany commented. “You did amazing and I can’t wait to meet beautiful baby Ocean!! I love you guys so so much! So proud of you!”
