Colton Underwood had a true Housewife experience at this week’s The Traitors Reunion taping — he reportedly stormed out.
Multiple sources told Page Six that Lisa Rinna pressed Colton about using the word “hostage” to describe her in a confessional moment, leading to a tense exchange between the two and, ultimately, Colton “stormed off the set in a huff.”
Another source offered a different take on Colton’s exit from the Reunion stage, telling Page Six, “It was more of an upset walk-off that happened in tandem with a planned break.”
Following the break, the outlet reported, that Colton, “returned to the set after getting some air and drinking water.”
Walking out of Reunions is a classic reality star move, particularly among Housewives. Lisa herself walked out of the third part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Reunion after costar Kim Richards returned a bunny Lisa had gifted to her grandson, saying the toy wasn’t given with “the right energy.”

The argument between Traitor and Faithful stemmed from a comment Colton made during a confessional interview in Episode 6, which originally aired on January 22. As he and Lisa met privately and he presented her with a deal where he would protect her from banishment if she would protect him from murder, Colton said in the confessional, “I’m pretty sure that Lisa is a Traitor, so I’m going to try something that might be really, really dumb, but it could potentially protect me for the rest of the game. I feel like I am a pretty obvious choice for an upcoming murder so instead of trying to banish a Traitor, I’m going to try to hold one hostage.”
Considering Colton’s history of stalking — including allegations that he once taped a tracking device to the car of his former girlfriend Cassie Randolph — that was a terrible word to use. (Cassie filed for— and obtained— a restraining order against Colton in 2020 but dropped it several months later.)
Lisa brought that history to new light by responding to a fan’s post on Threads last month with, “Let’s talk about you being a stalker….”
As The Ashley reported, Colton addressed his past actions and current social media focus in an interview with PRIDE, telling the outlet, “The phase and where I’m at in my life as a father, as a husband, is so different than six years ago. That was such a dark time of my life. I was dealing with threats and pressures that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.”
Lisa walked back her comments soon after, telling Variety, “I didn’t know anything about his past. I will say, in my defense, he wanted a Housewife, so I gave him a Housewife moment in my sassy response to a thread message. Then it was like putting gas on a fire, and I didn’t want to do that. It’s not what I’m out to do … It makes me sad that anybody gets hate online, because I’ve been through it, and I certainly don’t want to be a part of somebody else’s hate online. So I didn’t like that.”

With the Reunion now under her belt, Lisa’s attitude toward Colton has changed. Yesterday she told her TikTok followers, “We shot the Reunion yesterday, let me just say one thing, everything was taken care of, whether you’ll see it or not I can’t, I don’t know because I don’t have control over that, but I can tell you that, yeah, you know what needed to be done and it was done, yep, yeah, cause, you know, if you want a Housewife, I’ll give you a Housewife, honey, eight years.”
She went even further in the comments.
“OMG she confronted Colton,” wrote one follower, to which Lisa replied, “Duh.”
Another person wrote, “Be careful he might put a tracker on your car,” and Lisa responded, Oh, I’ve already checked my car”.
Stephen Colletti— who appeared on ‘The Traitors’ and is best known to reality TV fans for his time on Laguna Beach— provided his preview of the Reunion in an interview with Parade this week.
“There’s some heat at the Reunion,” he said. “I had a front row seat to watching some of the Housewives doing their thing. That was pretty cool to see. I mean, you even get Andy being a little bit frustrated with the conversation and how far off the rails it was going.
“You got [Michael] Rappaport, who thinks he’s a Housewife, he’s jumping right in there just talking, talking, pointing at people, trying to stir the pot,” Stephen continued. “So yeah, you’re gonna get a lot of heat back and forth, and it should be fun for the viewers. And a lot of great questions answered. So it was entertaining.”

That whole confrontation with Lisa & Colton was so weird. Im looking forward to the reunion & last few episodes of this season.
