The Medical Examiner’s Office in Adams County, Wisconsin, has ruled that the death of the five-week-old daughter of former 90 Day Fiance stars Leida Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook was “non-accidental,” Starcasm reported, citing official findings released by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department.
“On July 5, 2025, the agency received a report regarding a 1-month-old infant brought to the hospital with multiple injuries,” the findings read. “Subsequently, the infant was pronounced deceased on July 9, 2025.
“Law enforcement was contacted and initiated a criminal investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office determined the death was non-accidental. No criminal charges have been filed in this case, and the investigation remains open.”
The findings also concluded that, “The Initial Assessment completed by the agency found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”
The Adams County Health and Human Services Department release also disclosed that authorities had been called to Leida’s home in June to check on the welfare of her son from a previous relationship, Alessandro.
“On June 28, 2025, the agency screened-in a CPS Report alleging neglect to the infant’s now 12-year-old half sibling by the mother,” the findings read. “During the assessment period, an additional report was made to the agency regarding the infant being taken to the hospital with multiple injuries on July 5, 2025. Subsequently, the infant died on July 9, 2025. An assessment of the initial allegation was completed by the agency, and the allegation of neglect to the infant’s now 12-year-old half sibling was unsubstantiated.”
Leida and Eric were separated at the time of baby girl Alisa Eleanor’s death, with Leina living with Alisa and Alessandro in her own apartment. According to reporting obtained by Starcasm, Eric came to the apartment drunk in the early morning of July 5, 2025, and allegedly slapped his estranged wife while she was holding the baby girl. He was booked for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
A few hours later, Alisa was found unresponsive and a call was made to 911, according to a statement issued by Adams County Sheriff Brent York and reported by Starcarm.
“The City of Adams Police Department responded to the scene, along with LifeStar Ambulance Service,” the statement read. “LifeStar Ambulance Service transported the infant to Gunderson Moundview Hospital. The infant was then transported to UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison.
“On July 6, 2025, the City of Adams Police Department requested that the Sheriff’s Office take over the case,” the statement continued.
“On July 9, 2025, the child died at UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital,” the sheriff’s statement went on. “Any time an infant death occurs in Adams County a formal investigation takes place.”
Eric shared the news of his daughter’s death on Facebook on July 10.
“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” the post begins “Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life supoort [sic], my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom. I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not anwer [sic] anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”
Later in July Leida filed for legal separation and was granted a restraining order from Eric. In the separation filing, she stated there had been “too many domestic abuse events,” according to reporting from US Weekly.
She also noted that she’d previously filed for divorce from Eric in 2024. Alicia’s filing listed the couple wedding date as July 8, 2018.
“In her new filing for legal separation, Margaretha accused her ex of physical and verbal abuse,” US reported. “She requested spousal support in the amount of $7,000 per month. In addition, she asked for all furniture, electronics, a 2018 Audi, a 2011 Chevy Suburban, a 2022 Chevy Corvette and a retirement account.”
A month later, Leida dropped both the separation and restraining order requests, Us Weekly reported.

It just occured to may be just possibly if people like the walking breathing human infections that consume this soul crushing garbage like the likely involved commenters and stopped profiting from the children’s suffering, perhaps things like this wouldn’t happen and the good folks of all colors and backgrounds wouldn’t have to start digging so many holes across this good land for your new homes…… Allegedly, and of course hypothetically speaking right? Yeah, hypothetically.
Children would still be abused even if the public ignores it. The commenters on The Ashley have no bearing whatsoever on what abuses parents inflict on their children. Luckily you posed this as a hypothetical, as it is in no way based in reality.

Both parents should be charged in this! The father hit the wife while holding the baby. The mother most likely killed the baby. I hope the 12 year old has someone stable to take care of him.
I don’t know anything about either of these people but I saw a TMZ article about this and I ended up here to get more information about the situation because I am absolutely baffled about a couple of things:
1. Her husband admitted to hitting her in the face while she was holding their infant daughter on July 5, 2025. He admitted this when the police found him drunkenly passed out in his car and to TMZ when they reported on his arrest and reached out to him.
2. The TMZ article was published on July 11, 2025, so after the baby died, but TMZ didn’t mention it at all. Also, he was apparently willing to speak with TMZ despite what he says in his FB post. 3. I have no idea how a medical examiner can determine the person who physically abused the baby. They can tell she was abused, but saying it was 100% the mother is weird and not how people normally speak in this situations. Also why wouldn’t they immediately press charges against the mother?
4. Why isn’t anyone talking about the physical assault to the mother earlier in the day? I don’t know how you can hit a person holding a baby and not the baby, but regardless it seems to me to show at a minimum a reckless disregard for the health of his child.
5. That TMZ article only mentions the daughter to repeat the claims of the admitted wife beater and drunk that he didn’t “make contact with their daughter” when he was battering his wife who was holding the newborn. He was drunkenly passed out in his car when the police found him so why should anyone trust his recollection of the finer details of his battery?

Again, I don’t know these people at all. I was not aware they existed until like an hour ago. But reading through the facts about this everything seems like this is the mother’s fault but the father admitted to physically assaulting the wife and potentially the baby – depending on the definition of assault and if hitting a person holding a newborn can be considered assault on the baby too – hours earlier and forcing the wife and baby to flee their home in fear for their safety. If he would hit his wife, why is it a stretch to think he would hurt his baby? Because of his FB post? This is a man with a documented history of physical violence why are the health department officials saying it was the mother physically abusing the baby? I feel like I am taking crazy pills. I know as a society we blame mother’s for the deaths of children to a degree which we don’t do for men. But this is just bizarre to me. She might suck and be horrible but I just don’t understand what the theory is. That she was assaulted, fled her drunk husband, called the police to report him, beat her child almost to death, called an ambulance and went to the hospital to what? To try and use his physical assault on her to murder her child? This is just all very strange and feels like he is manipulating shit with the media, or at least TMZ. I know a death being non accidental can sound bad but that’s how most deaths are classified. Like if you die of a heart attack at 20 that would be considered a non accidental death. I also don’t understand how the baby can have signs of abuse and then died and no criminal charges have been brought.
I am guessing that the police saw the baby when they were called for the DV call and could corroborate that the injuries were not present at that time, which would implicate the mother.
Leida is absolutely pathetic, psychotic and a huge hypocrite! So you are telling me that a woman who had a HUGE problem with her soon to be husband paying child support- his responsibility- now wants 7K from him? In addition to probably everything he basically owns? Hell no. I believe she hurt her daughter to get back at Eric. Plain and simple. It’s sickening and I hope Eric regrets ever being with her and how treated his own kid(s) just to appease Leida and convince her to be with him. I hope charges are filed. There is no way this baby just died without her having something to do with this- especially with the circumstances. While I think Eric has a huge problem with alcohol, I think he was just desperate for love and this is what he got. I honestly bet him abusing her was after she repeatedly antagonized him. Not that abuse is EVER okay but I could see how it happened with this woman. Alessandro should be sent back to his family and away from that evil woman.
Send her ass to prison. Solitary confinement for the rest of her inexcusable existence. Anyone who harms children needs to be removed from society. These people cannot be rehabilitated.

Leida is evil! She was awful the day she stepped off the plane on 90 days. I used to feel sorry for Eric, like the poor guy just wanted a partner. On their season Leida made the home so hellish for his kids, they left the house. Eric should have known then, but he sided against his own kids for a monster he just met. He wasn’t protecting his children and look what happened to their defenseless infant daughter. These two are so messed up!
Having watched her vile abusive behaviour on tv I wouldn’t have trusted her to look after a pet rock.

If you watched their season, you’ll know she’s a terrible human being. She was selfish, aggressive, uncaring, and highly manipulative. I wouldn’t trust that lady with a gold fish. I rarely say this, but there’s no changing that type of person. And I fully could see her getting enraged at a baby crying and harming her. Eric is no prize, but she’s a monster. I hope they lock her up and throw away the key.
