Cortney Reardanz still has a soft spot in her heart for Colt Johnson.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from Monday’s episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, Cortney heads to the airport to pick up Colt, who’s returning to Orlando for the first time since the couple’s breakup.
As fans may recall, Colt and Cortney met on Season 1 of 90 Day: Hunt for Love. While Cortney was caught in a love triangle between Colt and 90 Day Fiancé alum Usman Umar, she ultimately chose Colt after he sustained a debilitating leg injury at the resort.
Following the couple’s time together at the ‘Hunt for Love’ resort, Las Vegas native Colt moved in with Cortney and her parents in Orlando so that Cortney could take care of him while he recovered from his injury. Unfortunately, Cortney later discovered that Colt had been cheating on her with another woman throughout the entirety of their relationship– a woman that Colt had been flirting with before even meeting Cortney at the resort.
“Colt was exactly who everybody said he was,” Cortney confirmed on the TLC series. “You’re sexting another woman in my house, how disrespectful! Like, sending videos of him j**king off in my f**king house, like, are you kidding me?”
Colt, who has been featured on the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise with three different women– all of whom he cheated on– revealed that he had been talking to Diana, a young woman from Brazil. He claimed that they started out as just friends, but got “intimate” soon after connecting online.
The virtual, sexual relationship had been going on for about a year before Cortney discovered the incriminating text messages. (It was later revealed on the show that Colt also lied to Diana about Cortney, and that both women were under the impression that they were in an exclusive relationship with him. Colt claimed, “I wanted the benefits of having Diana as an outlet, but I also wanted the benefits of having Cortney as a girlfriend.”)
“It makes me question [if] any of it was real for him,” Cortney said through tears. “Was he just using me for a place to stay? Was his plan the entire time to be with this other woman and he’s just feeding me this bulls**t every day?”
Cortney ultimately kicked Colt out of her parents’ home and broke up with him, but not before reminding him of what he’s currently working with.
“You have erectile dysfunction and you can’t walk, you’re homeless, you’re jobless, and you’re still cheating on me in my own f**king house,” she said. “The level of disrespect is insane.”
Things seemed to be over once and for all for the pair, with Cortney even turning down Colt’s mom’s attempts to get them back together.
After Cortney kicked Colt out, she thought he went to live with his mom, Debbie Johnson, and her husband in Canada, though she later learned that Colt actually has “been in Brazil with Diana.” Despite shacking up with his now-third Brazilian girlfriend, Colt makes a return to Orlando on Monday’s episode to undergo surgery.
“They’re saying the ligaments in his knee need to be replaced, so he has to have another surgery,” Cortney explains to her parents. “But he said he’s found a doctor here that will accept the insurance and stuff here in Orlando, so I guess he’s coming back.”
Due to Colt still being mobility-impaired, Cortney offered to pick him up from the airport and “get [him] situated in a hotel.”
“Picking up Colt from the airport is going to be torture,” Cortney says. “We had a really strong connection. There’s still some type of bond, which is maybe really dumb, but I feel responsible for him.”
Cortney’s parents are strongly against Colt being back in their daughter’s life in any capacity, but Cortney remains uncertain about her future with her ex-boyfriend.
“I don’t know what he wants … I think he’s just going to keep lying and lying,” Cortney (accurately) predicts. “I don’t trust him. How can I be with someone I don’t trust?”
